There was a lot of staff around to help if needed. The clothing was organized by item and also by size which made shopping a breeze. The selection was definitely curated as everything was in great condition! The prices were also very reasonable, many of the shirts I saw were priced at $7 which felt like a good bargain based on the condition and styles offered. The store consists of two rooms, one that is clothing and accessories, mostly women, and the second room was home goods, glassware, and children's items. I especially enjoyed seeing the variety of dresses they had. There were many good selections for wedding guest and occasion dresses. I really enjoyed this thrift store and would encourage others to stop in if you're out enjoying the area! This strip of stores definitely makes for a nice afternoon of shopping.

Unfortunately her husband passed away after a long illness over a year ago. Terri during this time did not allow her personal life to interfere with her professional life. Have visited this shop every year since I've been going to Ocean Grove, several years now. Terri is always pleasant and helpful. I have purchased several lovely items over the years. My nautical lace curtains adorn my dining room window & have received many compliments over the years. High quality. They have held up quite well. We will be down in June for Bridgefest. The staff is bare bones & can be very busy at times with set design folks from the entertainment industry. They don't have the capacity to respond to inquiries via social media, so an in person visit is necessary (and lots of fun!). Be patient. Just do your digging and take photos of what you are interested in with your phone. The shop operates in a brocante style (like if you've ever watched Dick & Angel shop for architectural salvage in France on "Escape to the Chateau"). You show your photos to the shop owner Carolyn at the main checkout and she comes up with a price for your selections. I know it seems weird, but when you see the shop you will understand that there is no way in h*ll they could possibly put individual prices on everything. This is not Facebook marketplace and the pricing for some items will reflect this shop's proximity to NYC. The owner's passion and commitment to recycling and repurposing just about everything from a wide variety and time periods is admirable. I was able to find a perfect match for my 1890's porch door thanks to their collection of treasures. Payment is cash or Venmo.

This place is designed for house flippers, serious interior designers, and restoration specialists that are either looking for statement pieces or that one very hard to find and very obsolete part that's needed to get a decades old artifact working again. Their system (of having no prices listed) I fully understand based on the magnitude of objects in this warehouse. However, waiting roughly 30 minutes to an hour to get a price on something actively discourages potential sales. Also, as a serious antique bottle collector - I was slightly annoyed that I was not able to view their whole collection since it was blocked off by dozens of snack trays. If you come - treat this place as a destination because it really is!! And be prepared to wait a bit until you figure out what the damage is going to be.

I don't buy furniture from him only because I paint my own, but, if I were ever looking for a few pieces for my home, I would buy from Simon Vintage. Simon Vintage is a Dixie Belle Paint stockist who carries the whole Dixie Belle product line. Since I only use Dixie Belle Paint, it's nice to have a stockist so close to me. Taking a 30 minute ride a couple times a month to get my Dixie Belle paint from Simon Vintage is a better than paying high shipping charges and waiting a week for my products to arrive. And Simon's prices are spot on, not only for paint, but furniture as well.
