Headed to this dual ranch / event venue location for a luau / car show / fall festival.... yes, you read that right....it was all those things happening at the same time! We found the event through social media and headed on out to enjoy family time. It was easy to find using GPS provided directions and parking was seamless with guides. It's a grass lot and, of course, the ranch is also mostly grass, so wear appropriate shoes. The event itself was a good time. They had meet-and-greet characters, face paint, craft stations, a section to show off the cars, a bar inside of the barn, and more. The little especially enjoyed the train ride around the property. It's a bit off the beaten path, but these kinds of venues usually are, so not unexpected! This would make for a fun venue for an event if you're in the market. Overall: A A fun spot for a fun event. On 7-21-19 we stopped in for a bike event we were invited to. What a beautiful piece of property! I would definitely return for another visit if invited again. Today, was a motorcycle/car/atv show sponsored by Asphalt and Iron . Lots to see and do! The venue hired the band Hayfire from 1100am-330pm. There was a petting zoo, a bar serving beer/liquor and food. Stop by to check this place out if you ever have the opportunity. read more

We have gone many events at Horsepower Ranch over the years. We finally went to one of their Hawaiian Luau events last night for my daughter's 21st birthday. First off it's a beautiful setting and absolutely top notch as far as upkeep and cleanliness of the grounds and buildings. It's a gorgeous place to host any event. Now as for the Luau last night. Two thumbs up the McElroy Family and their Aloha Productions company definitely put their all into every thing they do and last night was no exception. We arrived to welcome drink (both alcoholic and a similar non alcoholic option) delicious hors d'oeuvres served by servers who made sure to keep their trays full and keep making rounds. Polynesian entertainment throughout the evening with a full band, dancers, flames the whole nine yards added in a bit a humor to the routine here and there to keep us having fun. Guest impersonators were Elvis who came to sing and dance a few numbers and them Michael Jackson showed up.to dance to some of his most songs. Food was excellent and served orderly and quickly with one table at a time sent to the serving station so you didn't have a long line to stand and wait in or confusion on when to get up. Main course was steamed veggies, chicken, BBQ pork, rice, fresh fruits. Rolls. Macaroni salad and all were very good. Amongst the guests were 2 other birthday parties, a bride to be, and even a local mayor came to enjoy the Luau and in the end it was very obvious everybody had fun and a great night. Definitely check them out on Facebook and keep any eye out for their events. I especially couldn't recommend Horsepower Ranch more if you're looking for a venue to host your own event, party, wedding, anything really the McElroy's take great pride in the product they provide and will definitely treat you right... tell them paul the goatman sent ya #Horsepowerranch read more

Gotta be honest, the Confederate Flag was a huge turn off. If we didn't have a small group of us who had driven far to get there, that flag would have made us turn around and leave. We booked a small, private tour of the petting farm. The kids found it fun, but we all agreed that it was overpriced compared to other central Florida petting farms. They book weddings here also and the grounds are quite pretty to look at. Perhaps they take the Confederate flag down for those? Your guess is as good as mine. read more

After attending multiple events at this venue, my (now) wife and I decided to hold our wedding and reception here on this property. To say that the owners, Rachael and Scott went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect is an understatement. They dealt with deliveries and set-up and pretty much let us run out event as we imagined it should be. They and their staff were above accommodating and they are just good people! They also hold fantastic events like car shows, pumpkin patches, veterans events, birthday parties...you name it. They do it all and they do it well and professionally! read more

My husband and I found this gem for our 18th year anniversary. First let me say that I knew it would be a great "get away" because we were heading to Mexico and a Ranch; my two favorite things. Due to the staff and all they do to please you and make your stay a wonderful experience we will be going back for years to come. I hope our local San Diego/So Cal folks know what an easy drive it is down there, spread the word. Let me start off with Oscar who will reply to your emails timely and perfectly. Greeting as your check in with Sangria was Karina. Karina and Oscar worked together to schedule us Quad rides and Horseback riding. Karina is a ball of energy always there to take care of anything and make you laugh at the same time. Rodrigo who is a 2nd generation Ranch Boss also takes care of the food. What hotel feeds you breakfast & dinner included in the price of your stay? Food was prepared as you were coming to eat. The first night was the most tender flank steak perfectly grilled over a mesquite BBQ. Fresh tortillas, frijoles and eggs cooked perfectly in the morning. The only tips I have for folks is they are on generators so bring a flash light if needed. Depending on the night and hotel count they will let you know when lights out. Also they do not sell alcohol so bring your own if you like to drink. They have a world class shuffle board that we played all night. They have a pool table, horseshoes but that beautiful lawn need croquet game. I have to go back and see all the puppies / dogs. I am in love with these people and this place. Please help with their marketing and spread the word. I know at race time they are booked but it is the down season. read more
