I just cannot say enough about the quality of the staff and Dr Eastwood. I could barely get out of my car and walk into her waiting Room, the pain was so bad - 9 or 10, Ree put me on the padded Rack. The torso stretching felt so good the 30 minutes flew by. Oh and did I mention the video was playing skiing scenes today? That made the time fly. But, the stretching made my back and neck feel so much better. Then Dr. Eastwood used her Stem Cell Stimulated to relax my painful hip & leg. I hobbled in with a pinched spinal nerve on a Tuesday. By the end of the week I could, without pain: walk, drive, work (BARTENDER), and do just about everything else to go about the day. Mary Beth Eastwood is personally friendly, as are her staff. She recommended 3x-weekly visits to remedy chronic misalignment in my neck and back (lack of curvature from years of violin playing). I am committed to long-term health, and was willing to make the financial investment. However, after much money spent on a treatment plan, an x-ray a year later revealed absolutely no change in my neck curvature. She was evasive in responding to my concerns, and visits were always extremely short and cursory. I know Dr. Eastwood cares very much about people, and is a skillful and well-intentioned chiropractor, but her current set-up is not results-oriented, and promises long-term, structural results without delivering them. I would recommend her practice for someone seeking short-term relief, but not for someone seeking structural change. read more

I went to visit Dr. Eastwood after I crashed on my bike a few weeks ago. I was impressed with every aspect of the practice. The people handling the phones were professional and courteous. When I checked in the people at the front desk were prompt and friendly. I was able to see Dr. Eastwood the same day. She did a full evaluation - including X-Rays, traction, and an adjustment for free. She recommended I come back in for a follow up appointment, just to make sure everything was ok. I feel jipped. In a rather furious kind of way. First the entire staff is incredibly nice and comforting, a+ to all of you for that! Unfortunately that is where it stops. I understand you can't fix evverything in one visit, I know you are not a magician. I came in pretty clear about how I wanted my insurance to cover it, and it was the only reason I was even in the office to begin with. They said they would look into it, and started the appointment. I found out at check out, it was not covered. Not your fault, but when I make very clear worries about that it would have been nice in your customer service to let me know. The adjustment was nothing. Actually nothing. I was told by many people to expect a little bit of soreness. Nothing. You know what I did feel? My ankle popped. (That did feel nice though) Everytime I felt her trying to do something, I was pretty sure she was thinking the exact same thing I was, "it's not doing anything". THE XRAYS. This is the nail in the coffin for me. YOU WANT ME TO COME BACK AND PAY ANOTHER $65 TO EVEN TELL ME WHAT THEY SAY?! Are you serious? Her response when I asked that, I have other clients". You knew I was new and getting them done, you didn't make time for it? Honestly if it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't even be writing this. My family and I went to Dr. Eastwood at Triangle Chiropractic for 4+ years, and spent thousands of dollars (between her treatment plan and our insurance). For a long time, I was convinced that her care was wonderful--she and her staff are always bright and chipper, and the environment is soothing. I referred a number of people to her. However, when my chronic pain didn't clear up after so many years of weekly visits, and I started feeling like a cash cow, I began to consider other possibilities. Indeed, while Dr. Eastwood's adjustments seemed to help some, I never seemed to be getting much better. Dr. Eastwood told me that was because we are 3 dimensional beings who are constantly in motion. However, after 5 years of going almost every week, I would hope that my chronic pain would have improved! When Dr. Eastwood's office started to double-charge me for payments my insurance had already made, I decided to seek treatment elsewhere. After 3 months of physical therapy at ARC (South), and about 10 adjustments at The Joint (South Austin location), my chronic pain is almost completely GONE, and I do maintainence with simple exercises if I am in any pain. Not only is my health much improved since leaving Dr. Eastwood's care, but the cost difference is staggering. The Joint only charges $49 for 4 visits a month (TOTAL, no charge to insurance, though you can submit their receipt to your insurance if you wish), or $19 for an individual treatment if you just need occasional chiropractic care. They do massage work along with the adjustment, which really helped me, and they have more convenient locations and weekend and evening hours. Contrast this with Dr. Eastwood who spent about 4 minutes with me, is only open 4 days a week, and charged my insurance about $320/visit, plus the $600/year 24-visit treatment plan (or $50/visit for the cash plan). As you see, the cost difference is huge--I wish I had done my homework before going to see Dr. Eastwood. Also, The Joint offered the best adjustments I've ever had in a chiropractic office. (Dr. Will is great.) All in all, I would rather be out of pain, not spending a ton of money, and not going to see a doctor every week! read more

I LOVE Triangle Chiropractic and can not say enough good things about it. The office is always so calming and I feel at home from the second I walk in. The two assistants, Libby and Priscilla, are so efficient and professional at what they do. Not to mention, they know every single patient by name (which is impressive with the amount of people they help). They are always smiling which has a contagious effect throughout the office. I started visiting Dr. Beth Eastwood last week for my sciatica nerve pain and I have already seen the difference from the time I walked into her office. I was having sleepless nights, could not lie on my back and could not stand on my feet for so long because of the nerve pain but Dr. Eastwood has worked miracles on my body and I am very pleased with her work. I could hardly walk when I started seeing Dr. Eastwood. I have (you never get rid of it) Plantar Faciitis in both feet - I went to my regular Dr. and all they said was wrap your feet and do stretches - I was in excruciating pain anytime I got up from my desk at work or walked around the house after sitting or when I first got up in the morning. I now have no pain in one foot and the other (which was the worst) has so greatly improved that I hardly have any pain at all. This was a God-send! I actually feel normal again after months of being miserable. I cannot recommend this office for their care, concern and treatment. I'm not exactly sure what brought me to this location. It must have been fate. Dr. Eastwood is an amazing chiropractor. On many occasions she's taken away my back and neck pain instantly. I have to say at first I wasn't sure if this was what I really needed. I've had back pain for as long as I can remember. From my scoliosis to just pulling it wrong from a work out. She explained to me that little by little I would have my self back to normal. With patience, I really started to see a difference. I realized that it's the smallest moves that make the largest difference. I know this may sound cheesy but after every adjustment I'm instantly transformed into a happier person. I always walk out of there with a big smile on my face. Anyone with back pain knows it can really fog your brain and make you feel miserable physically and mentally. I remember one day it hurt so much to get in and out of my car...and I kid you not, just one visit and I felt amazing after. I remember laughing to myself after getting back into my car. Last year I went on a day long kayaking trip and had some pretty severe neck pain the next day. My physical therapist was out of town but suggested I see a chiropractor as my C3 and C4 disks often misalign. I searched for a place here and yelp and came across Triangle chiropractic. They had a same day appointment so I saw Dr. Eastwood within hours. Her assistant did cervical spine x-rays ($90) and put me on an ice pack for 20 minutes. Then I waited to see Dr. Eastwood (who took all the other patients in the waiting room before seeing me). First she tried to sell me package after package. When I told her again that I needed an adjustment to my neck as I was in considerable pain she had me lay down on the table. Dr. Eastwood then proceeded to adjust my lower back, which put a huge amount of strain on my neck (think huge jolt) on an already inflamed and painful area. I was in so much pain I cried out and was shaking and in tears. She tried to adjust my mid back, but I wouldnt let her touch me. She then told me to ice and sent me on my way. I went to my sports doctor who shook his head and sent me to a physical therapist who realigned my vertebrae without extreme pain. I obviously should not have seen a chiropractor, I should have gone to a doctor for my discomfort, as the adjustment made my injury worse. I am sad that as a medical professional Dr. Eastwood did not assess my situation and see that she was going to do harm. It simply reinforces my stand that I see a Medical Doctor, a physical therapist or a massage therapist for any sports injury. read more

When I first began treatment at Triangle Chiropractic, I'd never been to a chiropractor before. I went to Dr. Eastwood's office on the recommendation of two of my co-workers. . . I'd just moved to Texas from New York and I was having major problems with my throat. Due to a combination of acid reflux and allergies, my throat itched constantly and I had difficulty speaking and would cough violently sometimes to the point of vomiting. At the time of my initial consultation, I was absolutely miserable- my throat problems had taken over my life. I was taking twice the recommended dosage of Nexium (on my doctor's recommendation) and was on two inhalers as well as allergy medications. After beginning treatment with Dr. Eastwood, I am off of almost all medications- I've gone from being dependent on double doses of Nexium every day to occasionally taking an over-the-counter acid reducer once every few days. I no longer use the inhalers or the allergy meds. I feel 1000% better than I did when I first began treatment and feel that I am happier and healthier because of it. I cannot say enough good things about Triangle Chiropractic. Dr. Eastwood and Kim, the office manager, are always very upbeat and positive and they are always willing to work around my busy schedule.
