My wife and I went out to breakfast yesterday. Believe it or not, we were the only customers there at the time. We sat in the back room. The high school aged waitress was very kind and polite. She was not very up to date with the menu items. It seemed like it was here first day working at the Horseshoe Grill. Every question was answered with, "Let me go in the back and ask." The food was okay, my all meat omelette was super greasy. I didn't realize when ordering my omelette that that's all you get on your plate besides toast. Where are the hash browns? Since we were the only customers there at the time, I expected our meal to have been created with the utmost attention to detail. Sadly, it was not, we left very disappointed. Small local restaurants are the best. The homemade coleslaw was very good. The waitress was on top of everything we needed. She was the only waitress. We both had the patty melt. I had fries and she had onion rings. I didn't like the onion rings but she did. The hand battered fried pickles were the Best I have EVERY tasted. read more

I wish I lived close to here because I'd be there for breakfast EVERYDAY! I visited my dad who lives close to this restaurant and he brought me here for breakfast. I loved the cute little building and all of the Western finishes. I desperately want one of the benches from their front porch! So cute! My dad and I were able to sit at a table that was safely distanced in this time of COVID. We were given a menu and the price points are unbeatable! They have a great selection. I built a breakfast and my dad got the biscuits and gravy. Everything was so good and we both were stuffed when we left. They also had chocolate gravy but I didn't realize that til after I ordered so next time I'm getting that. Service was excellent and we had a great time! I was in the are again and I had my coworker try and we both now recommend this place! And the owners daughter is the person that waits on people and she is amazing. I have the biggest crush on her after my visit yesterday! She is worth visiting the place by herself! This place was great! It's a little place that I literally drove by it on accident. I'm definitely glad I went there. It was really good and cooked fresh. I got the catfish basket and it was a HUGE filet. It also came with a huge side of fries. Everything was piping hot and delicious. My coworker had a double bacon cheeseburger and fries. He said it was amazing. And couldn't finish all the food. I would definitely recommend this place and they do take credit cards so don't worry. read more

Disappointed Tonight 5 of us arrived at 6:50 pm and promptly ordered appetizers and entrees. 3 of the entrees included the Ribeye dinner that so many have raved about. We received our drinks and 10 minutes later the waitress returned to inform us that the cook would have to cut the 3 Ribeyes and it would be an extra 30 minutes. At this time there were only 2 other couples in the whole place. Please note, they were not OUT, just had to be cut! The poor waitress was struggling to explain as she didn't understand why he couldn't cut 3 steaks. We will be back to give them another chance and hope this was just an off night. Ordered the New York strip steak medium and it was perfect. The potato was good and hot and the salad was fresh. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. The only thing that could be improved is the decor but if a small hole-in-the-wall place is what you like this is perfect! read more

Stopped by here on a road trip and they had fantastic hushpuppies! Great prices with large portions. One plate is definitely enough for two people so I had some yummy leftovers. I got the catfish and it came with two very large pieces. As previously mentioned the hushpuppies are a must! Very friendly service. read more
