He does not know how to speak to people-at all. When customers try to calmly and respectfully explain themselves, he cuts them off mid sentence, talks over them, and escalates situations that do not need to be escalated. There is no attempt at listening, understanding, or basic human decency. What makes it worse is the openly hostile and homophobic attitude. It's uncomfortable, inappropriate, and completely unacceptable in a business that serves the public. No customer should feel disrespected or targeted just for existing. Running a store does not give someone permission to be rude, dismissive, or hateful. If you can't treat people with basic respect, you shouldn't be in a customer-facing role--especially not as an owner or manager. Save your money and your dignity. There are plenty of other liquor stores where you won't be talked down to or made to feel unwelcome.
