There is no compassion from the head RNs or doctors. You'd think they're not in the medical profession at all with their reaction to a patient saying, "I have medical anxiety that I'm working on with a therapist." Judgmental, dismissive, and cold. It is remarkable some of these people deal with mothers and children all day. Abhorrent bedside manner. I'm truly stunned by my upsetting experience and switching practices immediately.

They've seen it all over the years The staff is warm welcoming and kind to my kids. Dr. Anderson was great in taking the time to help me navigate being a new mom- she took the time to help me breastfeed and organize a schedule for both my kids. Dr. Becker is our favorite in all other visits, his calmness and confidence puts me at ease for matters small and large. No answers to any of my questions go unexplained. During off hours, the nurses that take your call are extremely helpful- regardless of the time of night. The only downfall is that I have 18 years of pediatric visits left for my kiddos, and when the time comes, I'll be sad when these doctors retire.

That being said, I don't know how I feel about how worn out the doctors may be. I love my doctor and I've had him for 13 years. He was a part of the Crozer system Which obviously got shut down very quickly and then he came to Mainline Health. A lot of of us had trouble getting our records back from the company that bankrupted Crozer although it seemed that they maintained some of my records, at least for medications, because someone read them out to me on the phone once and I know they weren't guessing because there were so many. Because I have complicated health problems and cannot always make it in when I want to, I got told that the next appointment that was available with my doctor - because I was a new patient (which is vaguely disconcerting) - was not until 2028. At the time by law, this doctor was supposed to be talking to me every six weeks. I don't see how the bottom can hold in a situation like that, but it was pleasant enough when I went there. I'm hoping that they take a bit off the of the doctors. I don't know if they have quotas or not, but it seems like if you can't get in to see a doctor for two years that that is an administrative problem. That being said like I said earlier, the people that work there I've had nothing but good conversations with and they have been nothing but patient with me and I'm just kind of waiting to see how it plays out. Their portal is probably the most frustrating thing I have ever dealt with besides trying to get through a human being from a customer service prospective or getting a pinky on the fourth fret when you have 13-year-old girl hands and are learning to play guitar. I haven't been to anybody but my primary care physician yet but I do have to see a few specialist and get an MRI so this review is subject to change based on those experiences.

I came here on a recommendation of a friend. So far over 8 years…read more Plenty of strip mall parking. Easy to make appointments. I never had to wait for an appointment. We don't see a specific doctor since it's usually a wellness checkup. So far each doctor has been friendly toward my child so no complaints there. They have three waiting rooms: a) Sick kids b) healthy kids c) adolescents There are plenty of patient rooms which are roomy. There is a check in deck and check out area for privacy. The normal routine has an eye check so if you go to an eye doctor then ask them to pass as you/your insurance will be billed for it. On the way out the kids are given a sticker and a pretzel. You can get a print out of shots/stats when you're there. Otherwise I believe there is a charge which is normal these days. Once a year they hold a flu shot clinic which I love. It's on a Saturday and the office is close to regular patients. They only give out flu shots. They usually have a theme and the kids get prizes such as coloring books, snacks...etc. Will I be back? I might actually win the record…read morefor going there the longest - almost 27 years now - from my oldest daughter to my youngest who is turning 16 soon and will be moving to a regular doctor's office. I stopped by Advocare this morning to drop off some paperwork, and I suddenly felt a little melancholy and realized I will miss it. Dr. Mehalick and Dr. Ringiewicz have been there since the beginning and they've been great, and the staff has always been helpful and met any needs that we had. That said, I do agree with the previous reviewer that they could use a little bit of a facelift. I don't think the office has changed much in the last 27 years. Some new carpeting and a nice paint job would do the trick. Thanks Advocare for the memories! It's been real.
