My wife noticed the Parma sign out front on our way through town and we were excited to find out that it was Parma Night (Wednesday). We both got the Bar 68 Parmy which turned out to be amazing! The food came out quickly and was steaming hot. Very aesthetic presentation and such good flavors. Tim is a very friendly and enthusiastic host! He took great care of us and made sure our experience was wonderful. We decided to come back the next night for Steak Night and he immediately recognized us and welcomed us back. The customer service and friendliness alone would have been enough to bring us back the second night but let's get back to the food! We ordered a Scotch Fillet and T-bone both with pepper sauce (Tim's recommendation) and they were both amazing. Quality tender meat cooked to perfection with the sauce complementing the steak rather than masking it's rich taste. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I have been to very few restaurants with this much dedication to customer satisfaction and quality food. I highly recommend it.

He let us use the restaurant dining room tables to do some work while the restaurant was closed. He even hand delivered some towels to our room. Marcus gave us gym, pool and wifi passes, and then even comp'd a drink from the mini-bar when we left! All the staff were very friendly, even the housekeeping staff will smile and say hello when you walk past. The rooms have been re-furbed and are modern and comfortable. The windows are double glazed so there isn't much street noise even in the rooms facing the main street. The breakfast was just average; on the plus side the juice and milk was nice and cold, but on the downside the eggs were a little undercooked (white was still runny).

It was a nice, and the staff were rather friendly as well, that is as long as you don't go into the sports bar next door. There is a pretty decent-sized beer garden, which is sort of a mix of a smoking area (at times) and a rather nice place to have a meal. They even had a decent beer on tap as well, so I did quite like that as well.

Sure, it had a beer garden, but that seemed to be standard out in the country, though it turn out that the beer garden wasn't just surprisingly good, but pretty large as well. The service wasn't bad at all, and what surpised me the most was that they even had a couple of nice beers on tap, something that I certainly wasn't expecting from a a country pub. Yeah, this place was pretty good.
