Everything a sandwich should be! You get to choose your bread (which they bake fresh); meat; cheese; veggies etc. you get a form and circle what you like. There are seats inside and a big covered deck outside that has a lovely view. Then they bring it out to you and call your name. They bake pies that look tasty. Also they have ice cream. Stop with the family. It's worth planning to stop here for lunch. It's worth it. bobsfinefoods, blogspot.ca

A must stop on the road

This place is such a gem. The bakery has the best pie. You can buy one slice to enjoy among the beautiful scenery or enjoy it with some ice cream. There is a small cafe, fresh produce and plants for sale as well. It is always a welcomed stop on a long road trip. The staff is friendly and helpful. But, the food is the best! The trip from Prince George to Vancouver can be daunting and this place is a more then welcome break. It is definitely kid friendly but can get extremely busy on weekends with a lot of travelers. Be prepared to park in the over flow parking and have wait times. Then have local beef jerky and snacks for the road and you can get pies frozen to take home and share another day, or to enjoy all to yourself! The small market offers farm fresh produce.

Try out their famous cinnamon buns. It's the size a pie!

The cinnamon bun was highly recommended so off we went to try it out. The bun was about 8" across and still warm and cost $5.00. Tastes really sweet with raisins and syrup dripping off the sides.

Stopped at Cache Creek on our way to Alaska. Stopped by this farmers market to get some fruit and breakfast. Delicious, made to order sandwhiches and homemade soups! Fresh produce to eat healthy on the road and it has a welcoming, small farm charm to it.

If you are looking for the perfect place to have an outdoor wedding, it would have to be Horsting's farm.

Wow! This is the place to visit if you are looking for great produce, amazing pies and a quick bite to eat. You can tell that the couple who owns the property, love what they do. Oh and don't forget to try the fudge; you won't be disappointed.

Roast beef sandwich with all the veggies, in potato bread.
