We were also asked if we wanted maple syrup with the pancakes, but I ended up not needing to add any because the jam and cream were enough. Maple syrup is $2 for a small cup so I would recommend skipping it unless you really want something sweeter. The jam and cream are just modestly sweet which was perfect for me. The blueberry smoothie bowl was also delicious and came with lots of toppings - their granola had a delightful texture. It was a bit of a wait for food, so ordering the breakfast plates is probably not the best option if you're in a hurry, but they have ready-to-eat stuff available if you do want something quick, and the drinks didn't take long. Not sure who approved the daily special but that person should not be recommending specials, let alone running a restaurant. The best thing on the menu was the Diet Coke I had to drink. Both my wife and I never expect food to be given away, but no attempt was given to try and rectify our poor dining experience. Honestly, even a compensated app would not bring me back, but the effort / gesture would have went a long way here. This place is not looking for return customers and it shows. I walked out of this restaurant scouring over the bill trying to figure out why I just spent $100 at this restaurant, and why we just didn't grab food from the gas station across the street.
