The staff are amazing, and truly care about their residents. The facility is by no means brand new, but it is kept neat and clean, and has been renovated recently. The food is top-notch, and much better than any you would expect at a similar facility. When the staff genuinely cares, it really makes a huge difference in the overall atmosphere and attitude of the residents.

My husband has been here for almost 3 weeks for physical therapy on his leg. In that time, no one…read morehas ever washed his hair. One of the times his diaper got changed, the nurse opened his diaper and found out the last nurse before him left dirty wipees in his diaper. On top of that, I found out his groin incision was split wide open and not only looked infected but smelled putrid. I asked the facility if they knew it was like that and they said they knew about it for the last 2 weeks and they never told me anything about it. Also, they were supposed to take my husband to dialysis on Thursday and I was supposed to pick him up after dialysis to see the surgeon about the infected incision. At the last possible second my husband called me and informed me they had left it up to me to bring him to dialysis and never told me. I had to leave my job and drive about 80 mph to get there in time and I lost my housekeeping client who had been paying me $120 a week. Then when I got there, they were all shocked and surprised that I was mad. Furthermore, I had been complaining for a week and a half about him not being able to eat anything without throwing up and they never did anything about it or the fact that he constantly had diarrhea. Today, they finally tested him and surprise, surprise, he has c dif. If I could give them negative stars I would. I hate this place.

amazing staff. amazing groups. amazing support. amazing therapists. amazing variety of food (even…read moretho i mainly ate the homemade bakery snacks hehe.) 8 hours of group a day which can be overwhelming at first or on bad days. detox went as well as it could but by the time i made it there i had experienced the worst of it so they just let me have a couple of days to myself to rest and isolate lol. you share your deepest thoughts and secrets and experiences with a group of people who start out as complete strangers but by the time you graduate it feels like you're leaving your new family behind. the bedrooms were so cozy as well as the group rooms. they offered much needed self care activities such as massages (shoutout Mary-Lou), a copper tub, a sauna, and haircuts. they also offered yoga and workout classes and had a lil mini gym. FRC truly helped me in a way no rehab had before and I'll always look back with fond memories (as fond of memories as you can have in a lockdown facility i suppose hahaha.) I'm so bad with names so apologies to anyone i miss but Kellie, Gretchen, Tevin and Chyna (when she occasionally had to fill in for groups) were amazing group facilitators. Devin and Elliott didn't lead many of the groups i was in but when they did it was straight bars I especially resonated with Kellie, she made it so clear that she cared about each individual human (seeing us as genuine struggling humans, not just patients in a facility.) Kellie also has a small business she runs off her own imagination and creativity. she makes the cuuuuutest stickers that she'll occasionally pass out during groups Jenna was an amazing therapist and helped me work through some repressed issues. again i'm sorry im so bad with names but truly each staff member was wonderful. they tried so hard to keep things fun for us like bingo nights, pizza nights, movie nights, and campfires. if none of that interests you then just watch some tv in your room or go to the group room to hang with the homies play some chess or switch sports and listen to music. don't be like me your first 2 weeks step out of your comfort zone meet people make connections open up about what you're holding in and you'll be surprised the amount of love and support and compassion you receive from the others. if your insurance can cover it and you are feeling desperate or helpless or just need support in your mental health/sobriety journey I strongly encourage you to reach out to FRC and work out a plan. thank you FRC for everything you all did for me and so many others.

Each house holds just 10 residents in 10 bedrooms, split between 2 hallways on either side of a central common area with dining space, living area, and an enormous kitchen where staff prepares meals and residents may use space, also. Each bedroom is private with en suite bathroom equipped with a walk in shower. Facility provides twin bed, sitting chair, side table, and dresser. There is space to personalize as well. We plan to add 2 sitting chairs for guests and a larger dresser. There is a large closet, between 5-6' wide. Laundry is done on a schedule and not mixed so chance if items missing is very low. Nurse is available, aids are assigned on shifts and are very capable and friendly. The center publishes activity calendar including social outings and shopping trips. There is a hair salon and manicures and pedicures can be scheduled.
