Of all of the thrift shops in the area, this one is by far the cleanest, most affordable, and customer service oriented of them all. The volunteers in the store are so friendly and immediately greet you walking through the door. The organization in this shop is wonderful. The "5 stars" definitely goes towards their pricing. Before going into Hospice this day, I had already been to the others and was actually quite taken back on the other shops' prices. I understand there is a fine line of pricing items to support the organization in which they represent and not just giving items away, but before going Hospice I had left every other thrift shop empty handed strictly due to the cost of items. However, I left Hospice with a few great items and all at a great, fair price!

I've frequently oogled clothing options in their window but I'd never been inside...until today! The main thing to know about this store is that prices are LOW. But, they don't have tons of furniture, or selection, as it is a smaller space. The staff was very friendly and I'll be back. I came away with some charming vintage baby clothes, for like $1-2 total. I offered to pay an additional 50 cents, even though companies actually have an agreement with companies that they cannot put a minimum on purchases.Hey thrift store, you were rude to me! So I will donate merchandise elsewhere. I have gone to stores and purchased closeouts with my own money and donated clothes to this Lutheran shop. In fact, run far, far away. Even if your item sells within days, they'll go ahead and hold your payment for a full 100 days from when they put it out on the floor (for a place that doesn't allow returns, this makes zero sense). After those 100 days, they'll take their sweet time actually putting those checks in the mail, and then, surprise, surprise, somehow the check will get "lost" in the mail. They've been rude and dismissive all along, and at this point, they have stopped replying to me and it seems like they see no problem just keeping the money I'm owed. Would give negative stars if possible, and I'm baffled this place continues to exist being managed in such unethical manner.
