On a trip w my parents my Mom got really sick so my Dad & I agreed to bring her here. With the help of my cousins we drove up to urgent care but before we all could finish getting out of the car my Mom was wheeled off & disappeared from sight! While my Mom was being treated we spoke to staff about our situation as visitors and how we essentially had no insurance. Staff patiently explained cash or credit card payment for my Mom's treatment. We decided to use our credit card so we could document & attempt reimbursement from insurance back home. The staff totally understood our need for detailed receipts and in the follow ups remembered to provide the same. After the initial evaluation the staff doctor spoke to us & requested consultation from a specialist. The specialist said my Mom could not travel & had to return for post evaluation. 10 hours later we were home w my Mom on bed rest. I had to reschedule our flights but in the end the treatments allowed my Mom to fly home w the recommendation that she follow up w doctors here in So Cal. All the doctors, nurses & staff we spoke to were very attentive, accommodating, & conscientious. Never have I been so impressed with a hospital, THIS IS HOW ALL HOSPITALS IN THE USA SHOULD BE!!! Talk about a first rate hospital! Labs were on site & done quickly. There was also a pharmacy where our prescription was always sent directly from the doctor, no wait, no unanswered questions, no need to find & wait at another pharmacy. Also, the wait area was comfortable & soothing like a lounge. Have you ever been inside a NICU? That is how I would compare the treatment & service at this hospital. My parents insurance company ended up FULLY reimbursing my parents for the expenses incurred thanks to the hospital's detailed receipts & documentation. The cost of treatment was in the hundreds but might have been in the thousands in So Cal. I found out later on that my nephew had his kidney transplant done here & all my cousins were aware of the quality of treatment at this hospital. God forbid you are ever in this situation but if you are in need a hospital this place is a true blessing. Location: In a residential area but Taxi drivers know where it is. It's a very well known hospital. Parking: Street (nice residential area) WC: Super clean, looked like any nice bathroom So Cal. There is a baby changing table.

Please do not get impressed by the name is just that . Horrible service by the doctors and the nurse has to be advise when the patient was in pain or he iv run out. Is a bad Mexican hospital within expenses fees specially if you got dollars .

Who shows up at the hospital with $40K pesos in cash? Upon discharge the next day, my final invoice was not correct, but they assured me the corrected one would be e-mailed to me the next day, and I would also receive an "immediate" refund of 90% of my $40K peso deposit. It took almost two weeks of increasingly angry e-mails and calls to get my refund. I am still waiting for the invoice six weeks later (I can't submit an insurance claim without it). Their accounting office obviously feels they don't have any sort of customer service obligation. I must say the hospital was clean, and that the care I received form the support staff - nurses and orderlies - was excellent. It is unfortunate they work for such a lousy organization. I have made my doctors, who are independent of Jardines, aware of the terrible customer service and asked them to reconsider conducting further surgeries there.

My rings were stolen during day surgery -- please read this before choosing this hospital…read more I had day surgery at this private hospital in Guadalajara. During pre-op, while fully alert and getting an IV, I was asked to remove my rings -- including a wedding set as well as a valuable ring. I placed them in the bedside table in full view of at least one nurse. I was told there was a safe available, but no one insisted I use it -- and I had no reason to think my belongings weren't secure in a private room under medical care. After the procedure and recovery, I left later that same day -- still groggy from anesthesia, helped into a wheelchair by a porter. It wasn't until I got home that I realized the rings were gone. When I contacted the hospital, the response from the hospital's patient care department was dismissive. They said they asked the two nurses, who denied seeing the rings. That was it. No broader investigation. No accountability. And I was later told the rings were never even charted -- despite staff witnessing me place them there. This was not a misunderstanding. This was theft. It takes a particular kind of person to steal from a sedated, vulnerable patient -- and I doubt this was the first or last time. When there are no consequences beyond saying "I didn't see it," what's to stop it from happening again? The hospital looks modern and polished, but their security protocols and patient protections failed badly. If you're considering surgery here -- especially as a foreigner -- know that your valuables, even deeply personal ones, may not be safe. I left feeling violated and deeply unsettled. I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone.
