I am extremely disappointed to have to write this review and i apologize for its length, but I…read morefeel it is important for other parents to be aware of serious concerns regarding safety, professionalism, and culture at this gym. One of the most alarming incidents involved Coach Kyra introducing a product called "Goodbye Stress" supplements to the athletes prior to a major competition. She spoke to the athletes and told them they would be taking it, and even showed them the product before confirming with parents. This supplement is clearly labeled for adult (18+) use and not recommended for children. It is also a relaxant, which could potentially impair coordination and reaction time--something that is extremely concerning in a sport where safety and precision are critical. This is not something that should ever be experimented with before a competition. While she later apologized, the damage to my trust in the gym's judgment and safety standards was already done. Additionally, Coach Kyra's behavior toward parents is inconsistent and often unprofessional. She is selective in who she treats respectfully. There are a handful of parents she is kind to, while others--including myself--are ignored entirely, without even a basic greeting. This creates an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment. Basic courtesy should be a given, something as simple as a hello or acknowledgment. Especially in an environment where we are trusting you with our young children, a baseline level of respect and cordialness shouldn't feel optional. There have also been multiple inappropriate interactions with the athletes. In one instance, she shared a photo in a team group chat of an athlete falling, captioned "now that we can laugh about it." The image captured a moment that could have resulted in injury, and instead of addressing it appropriately, it led to the athletes laughing at the expense of another girl. This escalated into teasing that later had to be addressed by parents. Again, an apology followed--but the situation should never have occurred in the first place. Another deeply concerning moment involved a racially insensitive comment during what appeared to be a game with the athletes. Coach Kyra described one athlete (a Caucasian little girl) as "raw chicken" going into an imaginary oven, and another athlete (a African American little girl) as "burnt chicken" coming out. The girls audibly reacted, and one athlete became visibly upset. Coach Kyra attempted to backtrack by saying "no offense," but the comment was inappropriate and unacceptable. Overall, the culture at this gym feels unhealthy and, at times, toxic. There is a lack of professionalism, poor judgment, and behavior that does not align with what I would expect in a youth athletic environment. I have reported these concerns to USA Cheer and other appropriate channels. It is truly disappointing to have had this experience. Looking back, I now see similar concerns reflected in other reviews, and I wish I had paid closer attention beforehand. It may have saved my daughter and me from going through this.

Little alarm going off in the building, they dont turn it off, they actually don't know how to, and she said how it happens often. HELLO? This is like, ran down, almost falling apart, only 3 walls are actually painted, everything else is dry wall, or metal sheet panels. It is DISGUSTING in here, floors full of dirt, no actual seats, no carpet or whatever, they had to put a bunch of wood underneath here and put little cushion. The teacher is just standing there doing NOTHING other than telling them to make a pizza? No actual teaching is going on... This is completely run down. It's actually disgusting.

Arizona Gymnastics looks a lil unassuming from the outside and then when you walk into the waiting/viewing area and see the gym, it's a lot bigger than it looks. There is a waiting/viewing area downstairs and upstairs to watch the kids behind the glass. The walls and ceilings are lined with trophies and banners. You can see the big kids in the back doing all their spins on the un even bars, backflips on the mats and twirls on the high beam. Made me realize oh this is a legit gymnastics school.Lols I've spoken to the owner Kristin a few times and she's very nice, she is also one of the coaches for the classes. It's been almost two months and my 6 year old still loves her gymnastics class. Her coach Christina is great and supportive. The first 20ish min of class they do a lot of strengthening moves and stretching. Then they focus on techniques. The last 5 minutes they play a game on the trampoline. I appreciate at the end, the coach takes a minute to talk to me about how my daughter is doing. I def recommend this school if your child is interested in gymnastics!

She's tried hip hop, ballet, tap, and a couple of the summer camps and has loved every single one. Her teachers (she's had Gabby and Angie, the owner) are both amazing with the kids, and Brooklyn always looks forward to class (it's the highlight of her week). The studio has a lot of options, the prices are reasonable, and the recital at the end of the year is super organized and fun to watch. We're really happy we found such a great dance studio so close to home. If you're looking for a new studio in Queen Creek, definitely give this one a try - you won't regret it!

When an owner/instructor is hanging out at clubs, bars, going to Disneyland or trips with the same parents of dancers, and ironically those kids get all the opportunities to move up.......i call that a complete conflict of interest. There are some wholesome instructors, but no matter how good they are, if the favoritism continues it is clear the studio will not grow into what it could become. Word will travel about this behavior as the dance community is small in the area. I hope they get their stuff together because the potential is there.
