As of today the city of Milan has gone into panic mode. THe grocery stores are empty, the Duomo canceled our tickets and our trip to Lake Como was also refunded without a problem. ONE exception is this hotel. I have tried to speak to someone regarding our reservation which was booked on Expedia and we were told SORRY! We didn't want a refund but just a credit to book once this virus is better understood and controlled. Well everyone else understood the need to cancel but this hotel didn't see it this way. So we are out 567.00 USD. The virus is spreading like wildfire and it's unfortunate but worst off are establishments like this

Their coffee is offensive to all of Italy. Completely unremarkable food that isn't worth the price. -For how big the room was, the shower was SO small. The handle was insanely temperamental and it's a few centimeters between getting burned to death or frozen. Overall I would not stay here again or recommend it.

The room is cold even during the day and not needed to say coldest at night. I come from the US, and among all the hotels I went, this is the coldest among all!!! 2. Useless!!! 3. 2 twin beds sold as king bed They charged us for king bed when they put 2 twin beds next to each other. You cant even sleep in the middle as it is so uncomfortable. 4. Small sized trash cans We could not even find the rooms's trash can at first so small can under the table and dont let me start on the can they put at the bathroom sooo tiny.

On top of that, our flight from the USA landed early morning and when I inquired about the possibility to do an early check-in, their employee Alessandro kindly accommodated our request- we arrived before 10 am and immediately we got the keys to our assigned room. First of all, location, location, location: the hotel is at walking distance from the center of Milan. It took us less than 3 minutes to go to La Scala and less than 10 to go to the Duomo. The rates were reasonable if compared with similar category hotels in the same area. The check in process was very smooth and the reception desk was courteous and helpful when we asked for some information. The room was spotless clean and spacious. The bathroom was spacious and with a very modern vibe. We loved their toiletries. Our room was facing a main street but we did not hear any traffic noise, so I would say that the hotel is well isolated from noise. The night before our departure we asked the front desk for a cab since we needed to leave at 6 am. Not only did the employees offer to book a cab for us- they also told us that they would have breakfast ready for us before we left- and note that breakfast is usually served at 7. This means that they went above and beyond to ensure that their guests would leave with a small meal. Our stay was so pleasant that we would definitely stay here again and I would gladly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in the heart of Milan.

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The staff isn't just rude, they are borderline…read moresociopathic. When I went to complain about my "superior" double room (the room is about 100sq feet total, enough room for a bed and the bathroom. That's it) the manager on duty told me I had purposely booked a double room instead of a twin to save money. When the key didn't work- and the lights in the room kept on going off every other minute- I was told that I had purposefully messed with the key because I was unhappy with my room. It took them 20 minutes to make a new key. Meanwhile, the air conditioner also didn't work- and I was told there is only air conditioning in the summer, which is not what it said when I booked. Also, it's May! And the room was hot. I told the manager that considering his rudeness I wasn't going to stay in the hotel, he basically said it didn't matter, because he would make sure I paid. So I called Booking.com to complain, and they said I should go ahead and leave and book another hotel. Which I did. Then when we tried to leave, the manager *literally* locked the doors to the hotel to make sure we didn't leave until I signed my credit card. I did so, under duress, because we had just taken a red eye flight from NYC and needed to go to our new hotel and get some sleep. This hotel isn't just awful, it's run by the most bitter, awful people in existence. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Breakfast was fantastic- lots of fresh fruit, breads, cheeses, juices, water, yogurt, eggs, etc. There was a man making coffee drinks, but each guest was only allowed one (but we were expecting this because we saw it on a review site- any additional coffee costs extra- there was also the opportunity to buy fresh squeezed orange juice.) It was good location, about a 20 minute walk from city center and close to lots of good restaurants and shopping. It was also about a ten minute walk to the train/ metro station which was convenient. Overall a great experience!

When we returned at check-in time, our bags were already up in our room, which I thought was a really nice touch. The room itself was nice and spacious. We got the Executive Jr. Suite since we wanted a separate area for my son. The view out the window was of the beautiful structure across the way. The bathroom was also nice and roomy. There was also a complimentary box of Venchi chocolates, which was so sweet! Breakfast was also great. Spacious dining room with a large variety of sweet and savory options, hot and cold. Coffee service was nice... we ordered cappuccinos each morning. The trams and train were also right outside the front door which was super convenient to get around the city. I would totally stay here again next time.
