Here is the thing about Hotel Casa Tra Noi Roma - it's not your typical hotel. In fact, it's more of a hotel for religious retreats, groups of priests or clergy visiting Rome or religious formation conferences and symposiums. In fact, everything about the hotel is designed to support Catholic events - resplendent with multiple chapels on the hotel campus. And, the hotel is great.
For the price, location and friendliness of the staff - it's really tough to beat. In fact, I had one of the best pasta dishes at the hotel in their rather "Vega Teri's" like dining room/restaurant. I was in Rome for a meeting with Catholic clergy from all over the world and everyone enjoyed their stay.
A word of caution - this is not a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination. It is really clean and well apportioned, but the rooms are not luxurious and harken more to a hostel than a high end hotel. However, if you're in Rome and need an inexpensive, but very clean and respectable place; look no further. It's up on a little hill in a very quiet location so you can separate yourself from the roads very easily! read more
