My favorite hotel during our stay in Italy! The Palazzo Navona Hotel is located in the perfect spot of Rome that is easily walkable to the main landmarks. It is upscale, trendy and modern! The breakfast buffet was also the fanciest one we've seen during our stay - filled with tons of bakery goodies, eggs, fruit, yogurt and meats. The staff at this hotel were wonderful as well! Will recommend this to all my friends going to Rome and hope to stay here again in the future. Also - has a rooftop restaurant and bar!

Very comfortable bed in a great sized room! It wasn't the typical European room, it was more American sized.

I don't know what more we could have asked for! It was my first time in Rome and the location was perfection! Central to everything and the accommodations were lovely! The staff went above and beyond! Big shout out to the bartender, Luca, for his expert skills and attention to detail! I see no need to ever stay anywhere else!

Great hotel in the midst all of Rome's major attractions, friendly staff especially David at the front desk. Arrived with reservation but it turns out Traveluro never sent the booking to the hotel. Hotel staff was able to offer a discounted rate to put us up for the night. On the day of departure, I left an item in the lobby as I was rushing to the airport. Again, David was able to hire a trusted taxi driver to bring the item to the airport in a matter of an hour. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.

A wonderful modern boutique 6-floor hotel with updated rooms and common areas. The rooftop bar/sitting area was a selling point when considering hotel options and didn't disappoint. The room comes with a stocked complimentary mini fridge, safe, modern bathrooms very comfortable bedding and a quiet setting. The staff could not have been friendly from the front desk to the servers as well as housekeeping. The complementary breakfast is well done, nothing outstanding but what you would expect from a buffet style complimentary breakfast (eggs, pastries, meats and cheese, cereals and yogurt etc). The location was very convenient to attractions and restaurants. I would definitely return.

Christmasy drinks from the lobby bar...delicious and beautiful!

TOP notch hotel located in a fantastic area...easy walking to everything! The hotel is modern but yet inviting with a fantastic European flair. Rooms were clean and very well appointed! All rooms have operable windows and the rooftop terrace was TO DIE FOR! Amazing views of the City! Staff was all very friendly and the morning breakfast was good (nothing too great but nice and easy). The bar staff were outstanding and always went above and beyond with their presentation! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for first timers in Rome because of the location. It is really walking distance to more of the points of interests in the city. The staff members were so nice and very accomodating. They are very informative as to how to go about the city if you are a first timer. I really wish I can mention the names of the team members that were really helpful, but, since this review has been long overdue I have forgotten their names. Rooms were very clean and seems well kept by housekeeping. Terrace has quite an overwhelming view. This is a first class boutique hotel. If ever I will be in rome again, i'd definitely stay here . Thank you for a very memorable accomodation.

By Rome standards for a full-service hotel, it would be considered affordable by many. But just to be clear, it is not ultra-inexpensive. For the money, it is firmly in the 4-star hotel genre (getting a 5-star Yelp rating from me within this category because I could find nothing wrong with it during my stay). So, while it may not have crystal chandeliers and butlers running around, it is definitely not a student tourist level hostel. It has modern, comfortable public spaces, elevators that hold more than 2 people at a time, a restaurant with a good breakfast spread, and well-appointed guest rooms with modern amenities and AC. I really don't need more than that when I am traveling solo for business so it was perfect for me given that set of circumstances. As a comparison, I have stayed at a 5-star Rome hotel which was absolutely a step up in terms of service, luxury features, and a sense of a personal attention. But when I am alone on business, that level of service is not necessary and can feel uncomfortable to me. There are plenty of cafe's and restaurants within a 10 min walk and it is a reasonable walk to attractions such as the Opera House, the Coliseum, and the Trevi Fountain. It is also a 10-minute walk to the main terminal Rome train station and the cool, local Nuovo Mercato Esquilino if you are into that type of thing like I am. I spent early mornings walking somewhere for coffee and then through the Mercato to watch the vendors work to ready their produce and meat to be pawed over by early restauranteurs which was a cool look at the underbelly life of this great city. I really liked that this hotel is not right up against the busy street and, on at least 2 sides of the building, there are streets that are not constantly jammed with the noise of traffic. My room fronted one of the quiet sides. It is unclear to me if I was upgraded to a nicer than standard room location because of my Hilton loyalty status but I had a very quiet stay in a room that was impeccably clean and could be easily darked out during the day if I needed a restorative nap for my jet lag. The gym was reasonably appointed and open 24/7 and the wi-fi speed was top notch. I had a great stay here for the money. Based on all of this, when in Rome in the future as a solo business traveler, I would be very happy to stay here again.

That made the location extremely convenient. The hotel sits a short walk from Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, where Pope Francis is buried. Some areas near the main train station are often described as unsafe by Italian standards. We did not experience that near the hotel. Tourists and locals were out late, and the neighborhood stayed active into the evening. Rome is compact and easy to navigate. Most major attractions felt reachable within about 20 minutes by taxi, bus, or rail. We tried to visit the Trevi Fountain at 10:00 pm to avoid crowds. That plan failed completely(see pic). It was packed. Locals eat later than in the U.S., and many parts of the city stay busy well into the night. Restaurants remain open late. A note for U.S. travelers. European hotel rooms run smaller for the price. Even using Hilton points, our room would have cost close to $700 per night USD and felt small. The hotel offers a pleasant rooftop bar and a spacious lobby with multiple seating areas. The buffet breakfast was a solid, comfortable way to start the day. It was included for us as Hilton Diamond members. I am unsure of the cash price. Overall, the location and amenities make this a smart pre-cruise choice, especially for travelers relying on rail connections.

The staff were wonderful with helpful suggestions from the front desk to the amazing breakfast buffet staff that always gave us a very warm "buongiorno" when we came in. After a few days the server didn't need to ask anymore he just brought me a cappuccino when I sat down. That is probably the biggest breakfast buffets I have ever seen. The two pictures don't fully capture it all. I really liked this hotel and would be back if I am ever in Rome again.

The downstairs spa was a bit small, but enjoyable nonetheless, with steam room, sauna, and simple hydrotherapy stations. However, it is quietly nestled in a beautiful little neighborhood. It is very quiet and quaint. Upon arrival we were greeted with the welcoming staff and escorted into the ruins beyond the lobby where we were brought a lovely tiramisu welcome treat to enjoy while taking in the ruins. The room is impressively large with a huge bathroom. We had a plush king sized bed with cozy down bedding. The thick beautiful curtains ensured that the room was perfectly dark for great sleep even if we wanted a mid day nap. There was a lovely little balcony with a view of the courtyard. With the curtains open the natural light is perfect. The bed was comfortable and we Sisto very nicely here. The bathroom is very big with a walk in shower and bidet with all toiletries needed to have a comfortable stay. I will say I was a bit bummed that the tile warmer was not functional but the hotel was very kind offering anything to make sure that we were happy. This was not a problem and we stayed in this room as warming towels us a perk but not a requirement. I would also note that the building is quite old and the bathroom had a metallic smell perhaps from the pipes of older plumbing but it was fine as long as we kept the bathroom door closed. I think the hotel was really concerned that we were upset but we absolutely were not just keep in mind this building is antique and if you are coming from the US where everything is new and not used to a potential aroma of antiquity be prepared to experience a true European city and do not complain. All details are thought of here including mini bar, clothes steamer, hair dryer, toiletries and a welcome gift. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They are always ensuring that we were comfortable and happy. We absolutely loved our stay here. The hotel is a special place and experience. The nostalgia of standing and staying where the Romans once stood 2000 years ago was definitely a treat! The hotel has a rooftop terrace where we enjoyed breakfast in the mornings and wine in the evening. The lounge just inside of the terrace is cozy and comfortable to enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail in the evening and there's a cozy fireplace to warm up, which we took full advantage of after a long wet rainy day in the colosseum and Roman forum. We had a great stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special Roman experience. We will definitely be back!
