The restaurant is excellent, with both traditional Swiss and Italian items. The three Italian chefs make wonderful pasta. We had the buckwheat pasta, a regional speciality with Prawns and asparagus---one of the best pasta dishes we have had in years. Great wine cellar! Our room is small, but has great beds, very fresh and clean bathroom and a killer view of the mountains. Great location for hiking, biking etc.

The Schweizerhaus is the type of hotel which I love: a large chalet type of hotel, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff and a restaurant where guests staying for a minimum of three nights were offered a discount. The spa in the Postli - free of charge for guests between certain hours during the late afternoon - was very welcome after some long hikes in the mountains. Maloja is also a very picturesque town with plenty of walks and the Schweizerhaus a delightful place to stay.
