A charming hotel with a very friendly staff. Rooms are clean and spacious. Note that on sundays there is no service what so ever. We enjoyed it as it gave real feeling of ownership to the room. read more

I nevertheless decided to give them a two stars because the food isn't what it used to be. My experience was similar to a previous Yelper. My steak tartare was not as good as what it used to be. Chunks of tasteless meat and not freshly done. It was quite the disappointment that I've decided now to limit to not eat here anymore. They nevertheless have a great staff. The service is impeccable and they are friendly. Don't take the restaurant off your list tho, it is definitely a nice place to seat and relax after a walk along the harbor.

Easy walk from the train station and right at the center of the main pedestrian area with shops and restaurants. I once had a more basic room and once was upgraded to a larger room. Both times the rooms were comfortable, in a cozy and traditional style. The bathrooms are pretty small, so may feel cramped if you're traveling with another person and trying to fit all your toiletries. I would rate this hotel higher, however the sound proofing is pretty bad. You can easily hear noise from the hallways, and the second time I was there, water pipes right above me were very, very noticeable and disrupted my sleep. Breakfast was included in my stays, and it's very good here. Self service coffee drinks, and a good selection of breads, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, fruit, etc. You can even ask for hot chocolate from Balzac, an excellent local producer. Service here is very friendly. It's a pity about the sound proofing, because I otherwise really like this place, given the location, value, and good service.

For example, we had to ask for wifi logins, as well as extension cables and outlets to supplement the meager number of built-in outlets.

Food: unfortunately we could eat dinner at this place because it was already booked out (but i'd say that says everything). on tripadvisor their restaurant "les saisons" is number one in vevey. the breakfast buffet was one of the best i've seen! great variety from bacon and eggs over salmon till apple pie (NOMS!). price for the breakfast is 39.- (if you book over the hotel it is already included as i know) Ambience: very very beautiful hotel with an incredible view and excellent service.
