An excellent stay and very convenient overall. It's located right next to the train station, which made getting around extremely easy. There's also a train that takes you directly from Geneva Airport to the nearby train station, making the trip to the hotel seamless.
Check-in was smooth. The staff was great across the board, and the concierge was especially helpful--assisting with booking local attractions and providing excellent recommendations.
The hotel offers three restaurants. The main-level restaurant is open most of the day with the longest hours, serving pastries, teas, snacks, and desserts throughout the day. There's also a breakfast restaurant that converts to dinner service and holds a Michelin star, which is extremely rare to find in a hotel. Unfortunately, when we had a reservation there in the evening, several menu items were unavailable, so we decided not to dine there.
We did eat at the rooftop restaurant on the seventh floor, and it was absolutely incredible--amazing food, great service, and an overall fantastic experience.
The hotel also has a great pool, spa, and gym. The spa offerings were excellent, and I booked a facial and massage that was absolutely incredible--it made for a very relaxing day and was a highlight of the stay.
The room itself was excellent with an amazing view, heated bathroom floors, and all the amenities you could need. Room service and in-room dining options were also very solid.
Overall, this was a great stay from start to finish and is highly recommended for anyone visiting Lausanne or Switzerland in general. read more
