I loved the grilled fish so much- and the green beans side dish was so good! A single waiter for the whole area and he served the food, cleared tables and ran the cash register too! My companion also was happy to get a side of rice for a change, rather than the usual crusty bread or fried potatoes. Glad we did not have a larger vehicle. We took the elevator up and we were greeted and checked in fairly quickly. The checking area, bar, lounge seating are on one side. They have a restaurant type on the other side where they serve breakfast or dinner. We did dinner once there and really enjoyed it. It's pretty new hotel compared to the ones next to it. It's pretty quiet as well but not sure because we were here on a Tuesday. Room is good size for the 2 of us. Bathroom and shower are separate which I like lots of It's next to the Fátima church which was amazing to be so close and less than a few mins walk to it. Really enjoyed the hotel. However, there are numerous restaurants directly adjacent to the hotel. There are only about six or seven car park spaces. So you need to drive up the road a ways and park in the Castle parking lot. Since we did not have much luggage it was not a big deal. Across the street is a department of tourism office. We can pick up some decent information on what to see and do around here. They do offer a breakfast with a room, which is very good breakfast. Fresh bread, eggs, cheese, ones, lots of different types of fruit, and plenty of coffee!

You can't beat the location, very close to the Basilica with one side of the hotel providing beautiful views. The rooms are simple and very clean. They provide free Wi-Fi and have a restaurant on site. We enjoyed the Buffett breakfast this morning. It was excellently served with scrambled eggs and breakfast meats, which you don't always find in Europe. We'll definitely be back!
