Where the guy from the other review found this super-glamorous hotel is a mystery to me: this is your regular Bavarian hotel, and nothing fancy about it. My room is rather small and is not on a sunny side, so that doesn't help. The bathroom is tiled in orange-brown tiles that must have been hot in the sixties, and the taps have seen better times as well. OK, everything is very clean, but hello, what else do you expect in Bayern? As to Internet: the Wifi does simply not work, and after one week of complaints, is still not working. There is an old PC on the second floor that you can use free of charge, but it has no USB entries, no camera, no microphone, so you're better off finding yourself an Internet Cafe in town (none in this shining village of rich farmers of course).
Breakfast is as to be expected, and quite OK. Although even here, the Bavarian mentality shows: I asked if I could have scrambled eggs instead of the eternally overcooked ones, and the answer was: no, she only made 'regular' eggs! Ha! Regular eggs, meaning done the Bavarian way! read more
