It's not very close to the city center, but quite easy to find your way to the metro. I think it took us 30-40 minutes to get back to the hotel after dinner. I had a single room. It was clean, modern, and decent size. The bed was comfortable and room temperature was fine. They do speak English at the front desk which is always helpful. Wifi is quick and free! Perfect for catching up with friends. The breakfast was nothing special. I wasn't too happy about the choices so I just had a croissant and some jam. There is seating inside and outside. They have an awesome coffee maker and provide hot water for tea. (I had a cup of tea before going to bed.) Overall, a pleasant overnight stay before flying back to the US.

I suppose the blame is on me for not checking the location on a map, and simply assuming that based on the "airport hotel" in the name, that it would be near the airport. Additionally, the shuttle to the airport will cost you an additional €16. Considering that this is an airport hotel, a shuttle service should be included (since getting to/from the airport is why people stay in airport hotels). Further, the shuttle is a relatively small van that fits 8 passengers max, so if there are more people than that heading to the airport at the same time (as was the case the morning I was there), prepare for some unhappy guests. The hotel itself is dingy and dated, both outside and in, but the room was clean (though there was some mold on the bathroom ceiling) and the reception staff were perfectly nice. If you need a true airport hotel in Vienna, there are definitely options that will be a better fit, including a couple hotels that are physically located on airport property.
