I'd consider staying here again, but I'd look around for better-sounding places first. For a hastily-booked last-minute trip on a very popular summer travel weekend, it wasn't an awful place to end up.
The location is lovely, on a lively square that is a very short walk from the center of the old town and the lake. The room was clean, functional, basic. The main problem was how stuffy the room was, even at night, even though the outdoor temperatures were rather mild for August. With the windows open and a fan running (having read about this problem in another online review, we actually brought our own fan along), it was pleasant enough to sleep, but noise from the street woke us up a couple times per night. Without the fan running, the street noise would have been even worse.
The parking situation is a bit tricky. They have some garage spots which you can reserve (for a reasonable per-night fee), but some of the spots are two cars deep, meaning it could be difficult to access your car during your stay (luckily this was not a problem for us).
Wifi is free but a pain in the ass to use. We gave up on it and just relied on 3G. read more
