It's odd seeing Hotel Ferdynand being advertised as a hotel in "Downtown Rzeszów" but I guess being allocated right across the main train terminal (Rzeszów Główny) and just a few blocks away from the town square earns you the right for that marketing maneuver?
This hotel tries really hard at providing a somewhat luxurious/elevated/high-end experience, but in the end, it's a rather awkward yet still enjoyable hybrid. I've stayed in it twice and it delivered on all the necessary fronts: breezing through check-in/check-out, cleanliness of the room, the responsiveness of the concierge, quality of the food available, Wi-Fi connectivity. Navigating through the hotel is a bit convoluted, as the Deluxe rooms are in a separate building but it's nothing too time-consuming. The sensual, IKEA-eque artworks are a strange choice of decor sprinkled through the hallways though.
One thing that was quite amusing was the multiple misspelling in their printed materials ("dail" instead "dial", "dailing" vs "dialing"). See if you can spot them all when you'll visit. There was quite a lot back in April/May 2019.
Lastly, if you book through their website you get a 15% discount on all rooms & a 10% discount at their Capella restaurant. Don't ever pay full price unless you absolutely have to. read more
