I visited for a friend's wedding, and the venue was truly beautiful, surrounded by nature. There's plenty to keep you occupied during your stay, including bike rentals, tennis, golf, a spa/gym, pool, & even soccer/volleyball courts. The food was fairly standard for hotel fare, so nothing too exciting there. Overall, it was a great experience! read more

Grounds wonderful, food okay, BUT Superior King Room with pool, terrible. Room much smaller than regular Superior King Room (which our 82 yr old relative stayed in) and is cheaper. Floor filthy, TV not HD, pool disgusting - green algae. Bathroom tiny, which included the clothes closet - room for 3 hangers. Clothes affected by shower steam Room not like website pictures. Request for 82 year old sister to be nearby, declined, placed on other side of the complex. Local manager did not take on board any of our requests, no apology and ignored us at breakfast the next day. Not professional at all. Don't waste your money. Wrote to the hotel and got no response. read more

we stayed at this beautiful colonial hotel for one night. We were in the area to attend a wedding and our relatives recommended that we stay here. We booked the standard room. The room was a bit Spartan, but beautifully decorated in a traditional colonial style. The bathroom was fully functional and made with beautiful handmade tiles. Our room also had a balcony that opened onto a beautiful garden. The room had no air-conditioning, but it had two fans. We were told that the premium rooms had air conditioning. So if air conditioning is important for you, you need to book a premium room. We also ate at the Buffet restaurant and the restaurant was very crowded around 10 AM on Sunday. I would recommend that you arrive around nine or earlier so it's not so crowded. Check out time was at 1 PM so we still had time to go for a swim after breakfast. The pools and the gardens are gorgeous. The hotel is a remodeled Hacienda and the gardens and architecture are extremely beautiful. Before breakfast, I walked all around the hotel and took lots of photos. I also took a 2 km walk around the golf course on an exercising track. Later in the day I saw horse rides going by the same track. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel I would highly recommend it to others, it is so unique and so beautiful that it's quite an experience in itself. The hotel also has a Chapel and several large rooms for events. This would be a wonderful location for a wedding. Additionally the hotel has other restaurants besides the one that I tried and also a Spa where you can get a massage or other beauty treatments. The hotel also has a small golf course. read more

The housekeeping and restaurant staff is mostly amazing and helpful. The lobby and admin staff are terrible. When I got to Mexico City i realized the bar gave me a false Mx $200 when I paid with a $500. I called to complain that it had happened the night before and they said, it's too late, can't do any bring about it. read more

Outdated rooms, extremely bureaucratic and unsympathetic staff. I had been coming to this hotel for 30 years and even got married here. This hotel makes me think of a golden age that is now long gone! read more
We ate breakfast there and it was pretty standard faire. The ambience was probably the most enjoyable aspect of the place, the grounds are really nice and there is a golf course nearby. read more
