You have to arrange the time that you'll check in, so if you're late because you can't find the place, which you won't be able to, you're screwed. Basically, all of the annoying leg work of an airbnb without any of the comfort or charm. The room was dated and musty. NO FREE WIFI-they force you to pay 1 euro per hour. Ridiculous. I was charged for a bottle of wine that I didn't take from the room-we bought it at a local vegan shop before arriving. Very careless that hotel staff saw an empty bottle of wine and automatically charged it to the room, even though it was obviously a different label. Owner is named Helen Fuchs and she was terrible to deal with-very arrogant and unhelpful. I guess I would be a miserable grouch if that was my name too. Stay ANYWHERE else.

Our 9 night stay started normally, except for the fact we didn't interact with staff until we had been there 2 nights. We had a partial roll of toilet paper when we checked in, but the morning after night 2 we were out without a spare anywhere. Housekeeping did not speak English and had difficulty understanding our limited German. My German aunt called the owner and he said we could meet with his associate at 3pm. The associates were a young girl and her slightly older brother. We wanted to speak with the owner to clarify breakfast issues we were experiencing as well as get the wifi password as advertised. We never got these issues clarified, and the breakfast certificate for the bakery wasn't correct. We had NO IDEA what breakfast choices we had. No wifi access the 9 days, 1 cup of coffee in the morning, and the children not being able to take our credit card to pay for the rooms which used up our Euro currency on the second day made for a disappointing visit.
