I did not try the restaurant but my colleague said the food there is good. The location worked well. It is an easy walk to the train station or the old town area. The hotel is located in a more residential area so it was quiet. There is a parking garage adjoining the hotel that is available to the public.

Second thing is the room was nice and clean with welcome gummy bears - haribo. The bed was comfortable, and not much of a view, but all good as it was a chill spot to rest and spend the night. They also had a fridge loaded with extra items available for use with purchase and comes in handy with extra space to store other items that need to be chilled. Third perk was it's close proximity to the city and it makes walking around a breeze especially with the train station nearby. Overall, a great hotel with a nice location in Frankfurt to enjoy all that is nearby!

It is across from the street from the train depot and within walking distance of the river (Main). We walked 4 blocks to the river and across the bridge to find the old downtown - but probably missed it by a few blocks. Close to the hotel is both the red light district (Taunustrasse) and a closed off walking block with a Starbucks and many different restaurants (Kaiserstrasse). So just an FYI not to turn on the wrong street! The hotel itself is really on the corner and hard to find. Look for the white art windows. The sushi restaurant downstairs was very good and convenient for tired travelers. There are actually 2 - one is cafeteria style and one is sit down. In the cafeteria one, they have an early bird special for 6, 10 and 20 plates (as opposed to a charge per plate based on color of the rim). Parking is non existent on the street - but there is a parking garage across the street. We did not really figure out how it works - we ended up paying $15 euro cash to get out without a paper ticket (we just had a red token). So ask more about that! The view is nice, the room is small but clean and it has a mini-bar. There is no real lobby - just a front desk and multiple doors on each floor that are kind of hard to open. The lobby is the "O" floor in the elevator. Wi-fi was $2 euro a night but you could hook up multiple devices.

It is located on 6 floors in a modern glass high-rise. It was even more hidden as the lobby is under construction and a backdoor is the entry point from the street. On top of this, you have to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to an elevator. Thank goodness they had someone to carry my luggage. I would have had to sleep on the street otherwise. From what I saw of Frankfurt, I wouldn't have been alone. :-0 Once inside, I was whisked up to the 22nd floor for the reception desk. They appeared to be organized and ready for me. The elevators are so modern, they don't even have buttons but more on them later. We were quickly given our room key and instruction on how everything works... yes, we did need instruction to get up to and in our room. Once inside, it was all clean lines, glass and stainless. It took me a day to figure our how to open / close the blinds located outside the glass. Too cool! The room was very comfortable and the first time we saw AC inn many days. All was good until the next morning. We had plans to get out early but when we tried the elevators were out of service. We were on the 24th floor... walking down was possible but we planned to come back. When we called the front desk, we were told it was the monthly test and they would be back in 15 minutes. An hour later, they still were not back and we were not happy. After a trip on the freight elevator and much discussion, we were offer breakfast for te inconvenience. Thank you All in all, this was a comfortable room if you can overlook a few awkward aspects I'm going to attribute to the ultra-modern design.

Innside is definitely a boutique hotel with a great location and sweeping views of Frankfurt...from the elevators which are on the outside of the building (very cool) to the restaurant / bar and the rooms themselves. The room was quite spacious and functional, although I never did figure out how to run the capsule shower without getting water on the floor when I entered. The only negative on the room was the lack of convenient power outlets. You generally had to pull lamp cords out of sockets in order to plug in more than one device. The breakfast (included with the room) was average...nothing to write home about compared to other European hotels. However, as a benefit there is a Starbucks about 10 feet from the entrance to the hotel. Additionally for dinner one would most likely want to venture out as the restaurant only has 6 entree options...and the options are exactly the same on the room service menu. Overall, I was pleased with my stay at Innside and I would most certainly stay there again.

Not a bad place to stay away from the hustle of the city. No way to easily get to Frankfurt city center from here. Shuttle buses run to and from the airport. Overall better than my last layover in Frankfurt. Free wifi if you pick the cert from the front desk.

Additionally, I sent a package to NH and they had bad customer service, rejected the package, and had me run all over Frankfurt for 7 hours going from DHL to DHL tracking down my package. And because of that, I wasted an entire day when instead I could've been visiting places.

They have a good variety of alcohol available and a limited cocktail list so you should find something to drink if you are that way inclined. The breakfast area is set up with some standard tables to eat at along with some more 'quirky' stations to eat at. The breakfast is the standard offerings, you can get poached eggs or omelettes made on request. It's location is good their is a large shopping mall just up the street and the tram and underground is not to far away.
