I was staying at Hotel Italia for 6 nights, for a company workshop. I found the hotel very clean, modern and comfortable. The room was spacious, high ceiling, shower and bath was very modern and felt luxurious. Great A/C, even though it was 32 degrees outside, my room was cool and I could relax and decide the temperature on my own. Wifi was working well, I was able to work without any problem. Location is great, close to train station, restaurants and also the shopping area. I was never more than 5-10 min of walk away from restaurants. The staff was very kind and helpful. The only two things that could be better: the room didn't have an iron, so I was not able to iron my clothes for business dinners etc, however the hotel as an iron service, but that has to be planned in. The breakfast buffet was amazing, but due to corona you could not take things yourself, you had to point and explain exactly what you wanted (butter, which bread, which juice, which cereal, how many tomatoes, cheese slices etc) , which was a bit difficult if you didn't speak Italian. read more

Everything was great, breakfast was plentiful. There was no shoe polishing sponge in the room though.

We stayed 5 nights at Hotel Italia and were very pleased. The central location near the bus terminal and many, many restaurants was very convenient. Hotel staff were helpful to us. We had a "superior" room which was large and light filled. It looked out into an interior space, not the street, so it was quiet. A good value for the price. read more

3 star hotel in the centre of Caglairi - spartan rooms, average breakfast, tired decor, clean. Front desk staff are plentiful but make no effort to assist guests. Better to find a B&B. read more

Location is excellent. Beddroom was small but ok for the cost. Breakfast and breakfast room needs improvement, lots of improvements starting with cleaning which is terrible, service (servers were not friendly and didn't care about replacing food, silverware, etc. Dated decoration. Super noisy. Elevator was scary. The coffee bar saves the hotel from being a complete disaster. read more

Dear Sirs, We stayed a the hotel for 3 nights. It is located in the centre and very convenient. Cafes and restaurants and historic centre close by. Hotel Staff are very nice and helpful. Hotel and bathrooms very clean. However the only thing I was not happy about was bread at breakfast as it was not of a good quality. Small bread rolls were good but not everyday on display. Loaf was not so good and one needs to toast it but toaster had only one part working and one had to wait a long time for one's turn. The hotel is in a great location, the room was spacious and clean. It was on the street side, so too noisy to have the windows open at night, but was fine with the air-conditioning. The breakfast buffet was good and the coffee was excellent! The only downside was the staff who made almost no effort to help us make the most of our visit, and were not particularly friendly or welcoming. read more

Generally very good. In a super-convenient location (walking distance to train station; in historic part of town surrounded by cafes and shops). Room was spacious and clean. Only quibble: the wi-fi. Super slow and not reliable if you're in a hurry. Would definitely recommend overall. read more

very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Clean room, but room quality should be improved. For example there was torn tapestry, the wall with many signs and to be plastered and furniture to be modernized. In this respect I would have expected a discount on the price. the room was facing the alley and therefore very noisy, but it is certainly not the fault of the hotel: one night it was between Saturday and Sunday and the cause was the rudeness of those who scream at night. read more

I appreciated the silence during the night. The room was very warm. The fitness room has very good equipment. The breakfast it's a classic italian one , but with some eggs and various english stuff. The restaurants close to it are very good and cheap. read more

Hotel was in a great location, it's very basic but it is lovely and clean. We were very close to the bus station and the train station. On our arrival, the man on reception who checked us in wasn't very friendly or welcoming - he didn't manage a single smile for the whole week we were there! We found the breakfast to be very limited and it wasn't replenished regularly. The evening menu was also very limited, however, there are plenty of restaurants and cafe's bars close by. read more

Hotel situated in pedestrianised area so very quiet and no traffic noise. Usual buffet breakfast qickly replenished when items getting low. Comfortable bed, efficient airconditioning, plenty hot water. Like all hotel bathrooms not enough shelving to spread out bathroom need, but as only staying 2 nights not too much of a problem. Central location with restaurants and shops close by. Would stay there again. read more
