Spend one night here when in Salzburg and I will sleep here again. Mostly because the company I work for - has their office located right around the corner. This hotel reminds me of when I as a kid went on road trips with my family through Germany and slept at places called guesthouses. The hotel is family owned and you get that feeling right away. The staff is very nice and helpful, and speaks good English. I didn't eat there except for breakfast, which is a nice little living room ish - room you eat in, with all the basic things of a breakfast - was very nice. I had a double room, nice and clean the style is in my mind - very old fashioned German style. The only two things I was not too pleased about was their internet and the water pressure in the shower. Working solely online, I don't need to say I need internet and this one was poor, I would say it was close to not working. The water pressure, when you have long hair as I have, can ot take forever to get soap out of your hair - if you even get it all out. The pressure was non-existent. But as I said in the beginning I will return to this place and would recommend others to go here as well, if you aren't staying in the center of the city. It's a bit of a ride from the city - you will need a car or go by taxi. read more

I stayed at this hotel for a week while traveling around Germany and Austria. The hotel staff spoke English very well and were friendly. Breakfast (which is €9) was good but didn't seem worth the price. This is the extent of the good. The WiFi was mediocre at best and is not capable of handling the heavy traffic. The sheets were never changed while I was staying at the hotel, even though they needed to be. One of my friends was repeatedly bitten by some sort of bug through out his stay at the hotel. If you happen to get a room with a view of the mountains, be prepared to sacrifice fresh air. The room I stayed in was right above the restaurant and smelled of fried food the whole week. The hotel is very close to the bus stop and is about a 7 minute walk to the grocery store ("Billa"). Expect about a 12-15 minute walk to the Taxham Europark Train station. The hotel is not close to the city center but can be reached in a decent amount of time. This hotel is very "meh". It's not great but it's not terrible. Hope this review helps your decision. read more

We stayed here over New Years because it was only thing that was affordable close to city center. The bus stop to city center is right out front. The breakfast is amazing. The woman behind counter was so helpful and friendly. I lost my wallet she helped call the town for me. I loved the place and the service was outstanding. Comfy and clean room. Good location and fair price. Restaurant connected to it is also amazing and manager there is wonderful as well. read more
