There's also a lovely swimming pool, though we didn't get a chance to use it. We stayed in floor 1, it was quiet. The hotel is just a short taxi ride from the train station (about €11) and the old town (around €13). The only downside for short trip is needing to take a taxi to and from the city center--but it's fast and easy. The front desk can call a cab that typically arrives within 10 minutes. Outstanding service from the front desk staff--friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was decent but the fried eggs were cooked perfectly one day and then way undercooked the second. Consistency would be nice so at least you'd know how to correct your order. Our door slammed really hard unless you remember to soften the swing, which you don't always do coming back at 2am. I'm sure our neighbors didn't like it (and sorry!) (Some others we stayed in were about as small as my closet.) The staff was very friendly and spoke English. (We tried our best to speak Spanish, but thankfully we didn't have to here.) There was free WiFi and an optional breakfast that we purchased. For breakfast we had a traditional Spanish tostada which was crusty fresh bread with tomato puree, olive oil, and manchego cheese. We don't eat ham, but usually it comes with ham. The freshly squeezed orange juice and cafe con leche were fantastic too. My only complaint was that the bed was too firm for our liking. We found this to be true everywhere we stayed in Spain. I guess Americans like softer beds.
