They had a very good white wine made by the owners. It was called Crime wine. It is being made for a company in Norway(?). Not dry and not sweet. Very easy to drink. They also had a cordial called Rheinsteigtropfen. This cherry flavored 35% Kraeuter-Kirsch drink was very good. It is not a very big place. It is an older house that is now used as the restaurant and bar. So the rooms are small and so not many tables. But the food and drinks make this a good stop. The only person working was a nice young man who we found out was the only son of the owners. His English was fine and he seemed truest interested in our opinion of their products.

Being the southern American girls that we are, we each wanted our own flight. The server told us that one carousel would be enough for whole table, so we decided to listen to his suggestion. For dinner I chose the shrimp and dill flatbread which was delicious and large enough in size that I had leftovers. The 12 wine carousel was indeed large enough for our table and we each found our favorites. One star down for the wait time. While it is customary to have a nice sit down meal in Europe, I did notice other locals seem to have to flag down the waiter several times.
