This hotel includes breakfast daily from approximately 7am to 10am and the options were pretty good. Coffee, pastries, bacon, eggs, yogurt, fruit, and fruit juices. The manager even gave us a special gift she bought for our dietary needs! We have also emailed the concierge questions daily and they responded within minutes! They also gave great restaurant recommendations! The rooms are spacious and lovely! The beds were very hard but that's to be expected in Italy. I also wish they would play classy Italian music in the restaurant and lobby; the pop music is not fitting in such a classy place. A small downside amongst the fabulous parts!

That made the location extremely convenient. The hotel sits a short walk from Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, where Pope Francis is buried. Some areas near the main train station are often described as unsafe by Italian standards. We did not experience that near the hotel. Tourists and locals were out late, and the neighborhood stayed active into the evening. Rome is compact and easy to navigate. Most major attractions felt reachable within about 20 minutes by taxi, bus, or rail. We tried to visit the Trevi Fountain at 10:00 pm to avoid crowds. That plan failed completely(see pic). It was packed. Locals eat later than in the U.S., and many parts of the city stay busy well into the night. Restaurants remain open late. A note for U.S. travelers. European hotel rooms run smaller for the price. Even using Hilton points, our room would have cost close to $700 per night USD and felt small. The hotel offers a pleasant rooftop bar and a spacious lobby with multiple seating areas. The buffet breakfast was a solid, comfortable way to start the day. It was included for us as Hilton Diamond members. I am unsure of the cash price. Overall, the location and amenities make this a smart pre-cruise choice, especially for travelers relying on rail connections.

Plenty of shopping, dining and coffee nearby. The room was clean and modern with a fully stocked, complimentary mini bar. Loved the bathroom, the bar upstairs and the breakfast buffet and coffee with Salvatore was a great start to each day. The downstairs spa was a bit small, but enjoyable nonetheless, with steam room, sauna, and simple hydrotherapy stations. All in all this was the best accommodations we had our entire 10 day trip throughout Italy. Will gladly stay here again! The staff, service, location, amenities and facility were all stellar!

I'm not sure if you can find a closer hotel. The Trevi Fountain is just a 15 minute walk away too. Plus the hotel features a cocktail bar on the top floor that affords beautiful views! As Marriott members we were treated very well with room upgrade, a bottle of wine and more when we visited! The room is a bit dark in decor but once you open your window you'll feel that you are in the midst of the old part of town with good lighting . The bathroom was quite expansive too! I appreciated the big shower after a long day. Lastly the customer service at the front desk was wonderful: we appreciate them calling restaurants on our behalf, especially during the holidays.
