The hotel is located on the bay, which is lovely, and the hotel was certainly once rather grand. As others have said, it is dated. There are few amenities. No heat and I'm here in January, no coffee maker, refrigerator and no hair dryer. Nothing included that I know of; you even have to put a deposit down on TV controls (although I had to do that elsewhere). The room is definitely mediocre with cheap furnishings that are not maintained in great repair. If you're on a road trip, it's a long distance from the room to the car park. No luggage cart. It is expensive by MX standards, so unless you are staying for the pool and the beach, I see no reason to come all this way and go over all those wicked topes to get here--which is way off the track from anywhere else you might be headed. read more
