Debbie spent her childhood in a US Air Force family that moved around the US and Germany while she was growing up. She has been in Denmark for over forty years, so she is 100% Danish now. The inn itself is an old farm set in a rural area a few kilometers from town. When you ring the bell, Debbie will greet you warmly and welcome you to the B&B. There is a reception area and a dining area downstairs with four or five bedrooms upstairs. Parking is out front. Our room had two twin beds pushed together in a medium sized room and a small bathroom with a shower stall. The decorations were what I would describe as Danish minimalist. Everything was very clean and worked well. The breakfast was buffet style with a soft boiled egg, cheese, pastries, yogurt, fruit, fruit juice and coffee. We had no problems and would definitely return here for another stay.

There is a hot beverage machine on the kitchen that you are allowed to use. It's part of the hotel perks. There are numerous refrigerators and a freezer and the grocery store is not far. There is a restaurant on the property. The room is small in United States standard but it is fine. The floor in the shower is heated which is common in the Scandic areas. The beds were fine. We liked it so we booked it for a second night. First night was through hotel.com He gave us a bit better price for the second night. There is a campground on the same property with miniature golf and trampolines. Highly recommend this place. Great value

I stayed at this camping site for 5 days in a tent. We hade a wonderful time…read more It's easy to get to to site by car, bike, or public transport. We toke the bus from Holbæk Station, and it stops right by the entrance. Remember you can't check in from 1 to 3 in the afternoon. If you want to camp and have the beautiful view remember to ask for a spot in the North of the site. They have a small shop, but it has a very limited selection of goods. But you can go the the nearby Rema 1000 (a supermarket) to do your grocery. Most of the year you can order bread at the littel shop. The wellness and pool are okay. You can relax most of the day at the pool. Remember to book the whirlpool, if you want to use it after 3 o'clock. You can also use the sauna and outdoor gym. It's easy to find good hiking and bikes routes in the area. Remember to pay a visit to Orø. When you camp here you'll get a discount at restaurants and other things in the area of Holbæk.
