We were attending a reception here at the hotel so since we travelled from the US we decided to spend a few days here. Best decision of the trip. The hotel is beautifully renovated; we met the owner and he gave us a history of the property and detailed the renovations and updates to this historic structure. The bar and cafe really show the history of the facility, with the walls exposing the 800 years of brick work.
The rooms are wonderfully appointed, and very comfortable. Free minibar, separate water closet, well designed bathroom. The staff is uniformly polite and helpful. And the location is phenomenal; right next to the Martinikerk, the Grote Markt and lots of shops, bars and restaurants. read more
