I found this hotel through Tripadvisor recommendations. My hotel experience was pretty good but not stellar then again. First of all, it was a a pretty good value. It cost about 100+ for a nice/spacious hotel. I was not disappointed with the size, though the layout of the room was different. We got a room on the first floor and was very pleasantly surprised by how big the room was. They provided a wine opener and wine glasses for guests to use.
Although we really liked the size of our room, there were some aspects of it that we couldn't get use to. First, the curtains was made of a cloth that was kind of see through. I could see out from it into this boarded up foyer. It looked like we were not sharing this space with anyone so we had enough privacy but since we couldn't not close the curtains, I never felt 100% sure that no one could look into our room/bathroom. The bathroom's layout was very funky. They toilet faces the bidet so you don't have any leg room to actually sit on the toilet. You kind of have to sit side ways. On top of that, the shower tub is also near this area so when you get out of the shower, you have to make sure you don't hit the toilet or the bidet while toweling off. Whoever designed the layout of the bathroom is not the brightest because functionality wise, it is really annoying to maneuver around. I was actually pretty annoyed with this.
The breakfast was okay. I wouldn't say it is terrific. All the items offered were microwavable. I wish that they had more of a selection. The hotel staff was great. I think what made this hotel stand out was its hotel staff. They were all really nice and professional. read more
