The cliff Monaco is watching over you and gives the town its signum together with the overcrowded beach. Hotel Mira Spiaggia has placed itself alongside the waterfront and is quite nice with a small restaurant for light lunches. The atmosphere is open and welcoming and especially the ice cream is tasteful. If spending a night in San Vito Lo Capo, not paying far too much, this could be a good choice.

The breakfast, included with the room price, is plentiful, healthy and features fresh fruits and delicious pastries baked by the hotel. The location is near everything you might need: shops, restaurants, gelaterias, supermarket, the beach. Cons: every morning several gentlemen (friends of the owners?) would congregate by the front door and smoke. The cigarette smoke, carried by the breeze, would fill the corridors of the hotel and, by extension, our rooms. The staff clearly know this happens (they breathe the same air) but don't seem to care. Why this is allowed, yet walking to your room from the beach in a bathing suit (there are signs in the lobby asking you to cover up out of "respect") is utter hypocrisy.

By far the worse customer service and the dirtiest hotel I have seen yet!!
