However, it is a nice bathroom a good shower and a nice room in general. Very clean hotel a lot of white on the walls, our room was cared for every day, and they did a very nice job. I felt very safe in this hotel, although walking the street in this area has a great deal of activity on it, and some people might feel uncomfortable here. But I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. Price is pretty good kind of in the middle of the road for a decent hotel here in Munich. A really nice buffet breakfast in the morning, is not included in the price, but it's still a pretty good deal if you want a good buffet breakfast with hot food, cakes, bakery items, fruit, cereal, and lots more. A little bar on the first floor right in the lobby area is really nice for people to come down and just spend a few minutes with some music playing having a drink and talking. The room was comfortable and clean with everything you needed in the room. It was nice we had a balcony, but it was winter so we weren't able to enjoy it too much. The hotel also had a restaurant and bar available but I was not able to check it out. Overall a very nice hotel. Would recommend!

The bathroom had an unpleasant odor they came and went at random times which I'm guessing is due to the septic system. Note that the bathroom door is frosted glass, just in case you or someone you're traveling with is not comfortable with that. The bathroom lacks an assortment of standard toiletries I'm use to seeing in most hotels at this level such as hand lotion, shampoo & conditioner, and small wash cloths. The only bathroom toiletries was the hand soap in a dispenser by sink and a body & hair wash combo in a dispenser in the shower. The room has a good size work station, lounging sofa chair, and plenty of outlets including usb ports by the bedsides. The hotel offers a restaurant onsite with a full breakfast menu available for a fee. There's also a bar in the lobby that is open pretty late. The staff were polite, helpful and everyone that I came in contact with at the front desk spoke English.

It is similar to the Residence Inns in the US where there is a kitchen area. There is a grocery store in the ground floor of the building. The only thing is it is closed on Sundays. The breakfast selection is decent and was included in the price we paid. The train station is within walking distance so that is certainly convenient. Staff is multilingual and we found them to all be accommodating. The cons: if you plan on walking to the city center, you may find it to be far. If you arrive kind of late for check-in, you may find it tedious to go up the stairs since you won't have a key card yet. I suggest having someone watch your luggages while you check in, if possible. I recommend getting the single day pass (€9.70) or if you're staying for more than 3 days, it might be more economical to consider the week pass (€22.40). The pass is activated if you purchase it online through the MVGo app. It works for the bus, tram and trains and it's pretty easy to figure out from the app.

It's a small hotel, but has great attention to detail. First, the design was warm, calming, and overall comfortable. I also liked the aesthetic, which felt a little Parisian (?). It was somewhere between modern and traditional (if that's possible), but most of all was cohesive. Everything just belonged together. The small garden was beautiful and peaceful and well-kept. The premise and staff exuded a pride of ownership and service, which I always appreciate. While the breakfast may not have been as elaborate as some larger hotels, it was fantastic. As an aside, it's nice to have everything included (the mini bar, breakfast, etc.). Even the sauna and steam room were a nice amenity. Other examples of attention to detail... the electrical outlets included adapter for different plugs including USB-C. The bathroom included a table for additional counter space. The front desk included frog gummies (frog was their theme). Who thinks of all this? All these little thoughtful details really demonstrate care. If I had to critique, I would suggest a few more equipment for the gym; it was a little lacking. Overall, great place.

I woke up covered in mosquito bites, and my partner -- who is a type 1 diabetic -- was put at serious health risk because of the bites and lack of sleep. It was completely uninhabitable. The staff acknowledged this has happened before, but still refused to move us to another room that night. To make things worse: * The air conditioning didn't work, so the room stayed hot and muggy the entire night. * The fridge also wasn't working, which caused our food and insulin to spoil. * The room was full of mosquitoes all night and we were forced to sleep through it with no solution from the hotel. All management offered was a free breakfast and late checkout. That's it. I followed up via email three separate times, requesting a refund for that night, and they have completely ignored every message. Absolutely no accountability, no care, and no professional response to a clear health hazard they were responsible for. This hotel has a serious problem with room quality, basic maintenance, and incompetent management. Avoid this place -- especially if you value your health, your sleep, or even just basic service.

Imagine our dismay when we arrived, after fifteen (15) hours of flying, to find that the hotel was overbooked. I've been to hotels in sixteen (16) countries around the world and never experienced that before. We were moved to the Marriott City West, which was described as just down the street but it was actually a little bit of a distance on foot. The disruption in accommodations cascaded problems onto our week's itinerary just off of the additional distance. Marriott City West was a new hotel but it wasn't what we envisioned for the trip. A manager [?] Christian Abate offered concessions to the couple before us, who were also displaced for overbooking. Those Concessions were not offered to us. He gave us his card and said we could call him in the morning to see if the room we reserved and pre-paid for would be ready. The next day we call both numbers on the card and sent WhatsApp message, none of which were ever responded to. We then called the hotel directly but it seemed they weren't expecting us to call back because our situation was then given to a new manager. In addition, Mariott Munich City West was told we were staying for the rest of our trip which we had not agreed to. In my estimation managment failed to properly hand off our issues. In any case, The morning manager Mark and Receptionist Christina (under high pressure and busy circumstances) were able to expedite our re-check into Roomers the next day. We were very appreciative of their efforts but in the end the overall experience was still completely overshadowed by how our trip began in Munich... with a bad initial hotel experience. So although the next day's staff did everything they could and it seems like the mistakes were not their fault, and although the rooms, luxury amenities and distance to the Theresenwiese (Oktoberfest) are enticing, I still recommend that you skip Roomers altogether.
