We felt as though we were visiting our favorite family member from the moment you arrive to the day you say your sad goodbye. The days at La Ermita de Deva always start off on the right note with a beautiful spread of her delicious breakfast. You will never leave hungry so long as Mara and her team are in the kitchen. A beautiful covered patio connected to the dining room is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine, beer or drink any time of the day. It goes without saying that there is a lot of love and effort put into running this little paradise. Quaint decorations surround you everywhere on the property, including your bed! Every room opens its windows to the breathtakingly beautiful views of green mountains and valley. If you listen closely, you will hear the sound of cowbells as the cows roam the lush green mountains in the distance. Our rooms were extremely clean and tidy. Our beds were covered with crisp white linens and the room smelled fresh every day. Should you grab a bottle of cold water from the fully stocked fridge, it will be replenished the next day. We have beautiful memories from staying here. That is why we chose to come back again in 2018. We plan to continue coming back so long as our lives permit us to do so!

Now, it's no luxury hotel, it's probably rated a 3 star, but the room was very clean, it has reliable wifi and I found the staff to be exceptional: they were really, really helpful and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great hotel, set in a beautifully restored historic building. Feels more like staying in a castle…read morebut with very modern rooms. After I checked out the concierge/customer support representative of the hotel, Annabelle, approached me and offered me some water for my trip (as I clearly had motorcycle bags with me), which was a nice touch. She then asked about my trip and when she found out that I am planning on staying at the NH hotel in Vigo offered to make the reservation for me, though I declined as I like to collect the points with the service that I use for booking. Maybe it was because when I was there, November 3 to 4, it was out of season. But I found the value I got for paying well under $100 incredible as NH hotels almost always have modern rooms, good room service and generally an enjoyable architecture. The parking is a bit cumbersome when you don't know it, but I suggest to contact the hotel first. Once you are in the parking garage (which is accessible from across the plaza) you can take an elevator right into the lobby. It is just not easy to get to the hotel by car (easy for me only because I was on a motorcycle) if you don't know the detail of going to the parking garage (find the NH hotel area and push the intercom button). Once you know it's easy, but I do recommend that the hotel proactively contacts people once they book to let them know the procedure about parking.

The location is super, a short walk from the center of town. Located in a quiet area, away from all the crowds but still very close to all one may want. Everything was super clean--kudos to the cleaning staff. Parking downstairs was a huge plus. Small supplement for parking. Breakfast was also quite good--Fati is literally running to make sure everything is set out (and doesn't run out.) Probably the best Ibis we've stayed at. The facilities might need a new coat of paint, but they seem to be preparing to paint; the kindness of the entire staff that makes this place stand out, and will make your stay great!

The employees were very friendly and hospitable and the location was perfect. Las Caldas is located in a remote part of Oviedo (I though I knew Oviedo, I was way wrong) and it is a hotel/resort with all the amenities you can ever think of. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and expect Spanish relaxed culture to come with it. As part of the wedding deal I had a hot rock massage that I was told I "need to take or else," and it was quite the experience. Basically put on a tiny jockstrap like piece of cloth, get oils massaged into just about inch of your body not covered, the hot rocks get applied, more massaging, you try your best to get off all the oil in a shower, then sit and relax and drink some special mineral water. Quite the experience. The breakfast spread is one of the best I have every experienced and the grounds are picture perfect.

I was on the 4th floor and the room was tiny but it was perfect for me and I liked the attic style ceiling (with views to nowhere:). Booked directly on their website as the price was cheaper than various operators I checked. Easy to find from the bus and train stations. Smooth transaction with the front desk staff. The hotel has a small cafeteria too, open to the general public.
