We started the day eating breakfast in salulita(where Jorge was instantly recognized by a group of girls for his role in bachelor in paradise) we then drove to San pancho and started the trip to an incredible hike to a hidden waterfall with a deep pool we could all swim in. The hike was not too long (1.5 miles) and was the perfect way to take in the jungle before cooling off with a cannonball into the waterfall pool. Once we hiked back, we stopped at a small beach restaurant for margaritas and snacks before heading home. A perfect day to explore the hidden beauty of Mexico! Thank you Jorge!

That said, if you want to go to Puerto Vallarta it'll cost you about $30 each way by taxi but there are shuttles to the beach 3 times a day and beaches in Nayarit are more pristine than downtown. The hotel itself has a great view looking out at Puerto Vallarta so you can see the city lights from a distance. The breakfast options are plentiful and Ulises, one of their servers, has really put in the work to learn English so he can answer any questions you may have about the menu. According to my friend, who's a Mexican native, Nayarit feels more like Puerto Rico of 40 years ago so if you want the best of both worlds without the serious hit to the pocket book then this is a decent option.

It was the perfect location to meet our needs of a large family gathering that was easy to get to and close to local towns where we could explore. There are so many things that we loved about this property and we can't wait to get back again! There's a little something for everyone from games, hammocks, to cooking in the wonderful and authentic cocina. The view, wow and then we were fortunate to have a full moon during our stay which just added to the beauty and lights at night. The spaciousness of the home, accommodations to meet our large group needs and openness would be hard to meet anywhere else. The kids of course loved the pool, we couldn't get them out! As far as the staff we saw the property manager on our first day, he walked through everything with my husband and was readily available when we arrived to show us up to the place. He responded quickly if anything arose during our stay. The cleaning staff was really great. Above and beyond tending to cleaning and tidying up for us. Everyone was super friendly and we felt safe and secure on the property. I wish we would have been able to experience the chef services but we chose to do our own cooking as most of our family is local to Mexico and are some of the most amazing cooks! But I am certain any chef services would have been great as when we arrived we were greeted with some tasty Guacamole and Pico de gallo. Since our stay was pretty short and we were more focused on family time we didn't partake in any of the available adventures but hopefully will do that next time. We explored Lo de Marcos (closest to the property, small, the beach is fun), San Pancho (my favorite of all the towns, cool hippy town like Saylulita but close and fun), Guayabitos and La Penita (we like the restaurants and shopping here). two of which my husband and I have been to several times. We enjoyed the diverse and differences of each town. We felt safe and relaxed on our stay and hope to return again. Working with the home owner prior, during and after our stay was wonderful and professional. The house is beautiful and we look forward to returning soon. Tip- Get your groceries at one of the big super markets in Nuevo Vallarta on your way to the Property. There are some small markets in a few of the towns near but it's best to shop on your way.

Villa Boda met all our needs. There was plenty of space for everyone, the place is just beautiful,…read morethe kitchen had just about everything we could need to prepare meals or snacks. The daily cleaning staff and the property manager were absolutely the best. The villa is perched up on a hill about 10 minutes from the beach. You can see the ocean from the villa. Villa Boda is easy to get to from the airport. And there are several big supermarkets along the way to shop for groceries. We've been to Puerto Vallarta several times but this time we wanted to venture North, away from all the tourists and we're glad we did. The beaches are either empty or just a few people, locals on holiday and a few tourists. There were plenty of fun activities to do in the area. We rented a high clearance car from Hertz and it was very easy to get around (some of the smaller towns have dirt roads). We are considering coming back with both our entire families for a family reunion. In addition to Villa Boda there are currently two other villas for rent.

They have Wi-Fi, but our galerita was just far enough away (and my phone is older), that I couldn't really connect. So, being off the grid, I got to just relax. The staff (husband and wife, Miseal and Lorena), greet you, assist you, attend to your needs. Breakfast is included, with everything homemade. Coffee is grown on the property. Jam is made by the berries grown on property. It is walking distance to historic San Sebastian. Prices are very reasonable. Eco-friendly with lots of options to add to your stay (see the website). I highly recommend seeing historic San Sebastian while staying at La Galerita.

We had heard their restaurant, Navegante Bay, had some delicious eats. This ended up being our favorite day of the trip! Jorge, our waiter was phenomenal! We arrived around noon and they were able to offer us to early check-in, or wait a few hours and receive an upgrade to an Ocean View room. We opted for the upgrade and it made our experience even better. They started offering complimentary cooking classes and kid's club access, as well as a kids eat free program, which definitely caters to families. The complimentary cooking classes, you basically just watch the cook or bartender make the drink or food for you for free, and then throw in some knowledge here and there. The Kid's Club activities were pretty fun, and the staff there were amazing at keeping the kids engaged. The food here is excellent just like we remembered, and you are never a short walk away from the pool, the beach, or some dining options. They also have a basketball half court, two pickleball courts and a tennis court. However, the tennis rackets needs to be restrung and the balls are flat. Pickleball is probably a better option, and you can pick up the equipment from the activities booth near the adult pool. It is by reservation, but from what I can see, basically no one uses it, so you can probably just walk in. One issue that soured our experience though was that we were not notified ahead of time the number of corporate events that were taking place on property. They completely took over the activities room which had pool tables, ping pong tables, gaming systems, foosball table, etc which can provide a good retreat from the sun outside for people to lounge and relax a bit. There seems to be other meeting rooms that could have been used instead of the activities room. Definitely made our entire experience less relaxing. There was also a wedding that took place and the party went on past 10pm, blasting extremely loud music in the middle of the property. Definitely didn't feel being valued by Conrad and more of an afterthought compared to corporate and wedding events.

First time in January food was great service was great everything was up to par. Then second Time around in March we actually left a restaurant because it took forever to get our food. The place is beautiful, food was good when you got it, but service was lacking. The only place to eat was the Mediterranean restaurant on the secrets side. Seaside grill could not get the pizza order correct, after waiting for 10 mins a lady behind me got her pizza in less than 5min while I stewed. Not feeling the vibe on this
