Upon arrival, the hotel may pretty small and unimpressive but our stay was wonderful. The rooms are a good size and I liked that the shower was in a separate room so that someone could still use the toilet at the same time. The AC worked well and they have an elevator. The location is perfect, just minutes from the Arena and short walk to most of the sites. I'm not usually bothered by whether staff is good at a hotel or not and it doesn't affect my stay; however, the staff here were outstanding. When we asked for dinner reservations one night, our phone wasn't working so they actually came up to our room with a basket of business cards with recommendations and then made the reservations for us. All of their restaurant recommendations were spot on and some of the best meals we had in Italy. On the last day, we had to leave early and asked for breakfast box. We came down to find that they had set up a full breakfast 30 minutes earlier than the usual start time just for us! I absolutely loved Verona and if I ever come back, I'll definitely look into staying here again.

My husband and I wanted to see Lake Garda on our way to Milan. We were going to go to Lake Garda and then come back to the hotel to collect our luggage the same day and then head to Milan. But Sylvia told us that the train station would have a luggage deposit so we could leave our luggage there while we explored Lake Garda and then head straight to Milan. We thought that was a perfect idea until we arrived at the Lake Garda train station at 9:30am and found out there was no luggage deposit. So we couldn't see Lake Garda (we weren't about to drag our heavy luggage around with us all day) and that completely messed up our day. Just make sure to double check the information that is given. I know she didn't do it intentionally but if she was unsure about the information she was giving us, she could've double checked for us. We are assuming that she knows all about these things since she lives in Italy. * Good location (located 5 minutes from Colosseum) * Directions to hotel on website very confusing * Big rooms (compared to other Italian hotels), hard beds * Nice big refrigerator

I was ill with food poisoning, and they couldn't have been kinder. They let me stay past check out and brought me tea and looked after me. They also have a lovely breakfast (which was not the cause of the food poisoning!). We had a wonderful big room with two balconies. I took one star away because there are no towel racks in the bathroom and the room had three small twin beds. It is big enough for a queen sized and two twins for a perfect "family room." It was newly renovated, so perhaps they aren't finished. I hope my comments help make the room perfect for a family. I would definitely stay here again.

Although being a receptionist is a relatively simple task, it certainly requires certain qualities. The costumer asks questions related to the trade, like when breakfast will be served, where is located the dinning room, some directions of local attractions or a good place to have dinner. You do not expect that the receptionist refuses to answer, or being given wrong or confusing information. Even less expected is the experience of being verbally abused. On the good side, the hotel is centrally located, rooms are simple but clean and breakfast is OK, with efficient waitresses. Overpriced, you could find better options nearby (plenty of good hotels in the same street). Costumers paid good money for using your premises. They do not deserve being mistreated. Properly addressing this issue would certainly enhance the value proposition of your business.

I must saw we were not impressed. Right from the beginning the staff at the check in was not welcoming, nor friendly, frankly. The junior suite was nice, clean but dated. Lighting was poor. Each time we went in and out of the hotel we were never greeted with a welcoming "good morning" or "good afternoon" and at check out we were just told the bill was all settled. We left with the distinct impression that hotel does not need our business and we will surely take it elsewhere in our next visit to the nice city of Padova. The breakfast was disappointing; scrambled eggs looked reheated, boiled eggs were left out overnight, milk was overly warm,... The only bright spot were the cleaning and serving staff who were a pleasure to talk to and made our stay comfortable.

The breakfast was 5 euros, fresh cakes and pastries, cereals, eggs, cold cuts and veggies, and a wonderful coffee machine! We walked everywhere from the hotel, shops, restaurants, just a few minutes' walk to the Arena and Piazza Bra. The wifi was good. We booked it sight-unseen, and it's rather plain on the outside, but it truly was the perfect hotel for a great visit to Verona!

The price is reasonable considering you are in a prime location. We took the train from Bolzano Italy and walked from the train station to the hotel, though I wouldnt recommend this if your bag doesnt have wheels. Its also a 2 hour train ride from Venice. I did not have the breakfast or eat at the restaurant, so I have nothing to offer you there. We did, upon arrival, receive Easter bread and a glass of wine. Nice touch!

My bf and I stayed at La Mugletta two times during our last trip to Italy. We decided to stay there…read morethe first time since it was close to a wedding reception we were attending, and we loved it so much that we decided to stay there again for another wedding nearby a week later! Rooms: The first time, we stayed in the orange room which was the largest of the 3 (if you don't count the green room loft). It has a lovely view full of greenery and private access to the large, common terrace. The second time, we stayed in the yellow room which was a bit smaller but still lovely, and had better wifi connection lol Breakfast: Breakfast included a wide array of food and drinks and treats, including fruit (most of it was homegrown), pastries (d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s, so much so that we asked where they were from and bought some more lol), juices, homemade jams, etc. Host: Ulla was so nice and sweet. She also made an effort to learn our preferences and was quick to offer them the following day(s), such as cappuccinos in the morning, etc. While there (lol), I learned my new favourite pastry is croissant with hazelnut spread filling, which she put aside for me on one of the mornings to make sure there was still some left as the other guests had their fill. I don't come to this region often when it's not winter holidays (apparently La Mugletta is closed during that time), but I would definitely like to come stay here again the next time I'm around in non-wintertime ;)
