Street facing rooms were almost 2x the size with 3x size deck. No Drinks in pool: this is 100% the thing you want to do on vacation... can't even have water in the pool... Maintenance: there were bugs in the hallways and some rooms, paint on a lot of walls cracking.

La Concha Park is currently morphing into Hotel La Concha Soul which reflects the owners' love of music but also my experience was that a stay here is truly nurturing for the soul too. A great hotel to relax, chill out and enjoy the delight that is Mallorca. Friendly helpful reception staff - who are multi lingual. Good mix of nationalities staying including holiday makers from Spain which I saw as a clear endorsement! Accommodation wise - the hotel has been recently refurbished and rooms are tastefully painted and have new beds. Maid service is daily. The Balcony is a great place to cool down and relax before dinner. Food is good - for breakfast there is a buffet selection of cereals, cold meats, cheese, fruit and yoghurt, bread rolls and bread. There is a toaster too. Tea, Coffee and fruit juices. I was half board so had my evening meals at the hotel - food was good quality - 3 courses - and although a fixed menu this is more than made up for by the hotel serving local dishes, and the staff enthusiasm for their cuisine is a pleasant change from mass produced menus. Meals and snacks are available throughout the day. The Bulevar (the main social centre) and the beach (Peguera has 3 beaches) are only a short walk away. I hope to return to La Concha Park (Soul) later this year. Tips for Travellers - Every Friday night the Hotel hosts a B-B-Q followed by a concert featuring Joe Orson - singer/ songwriter who sings a mix of classics as well as Spanish songs and some of his own. It's really informal so please tell Joe what you want to hear. If you are on half board the B-B-Q is free. If you want to chill out further I cannot recommend enough a massage at Thai Wellness on the Bulevard - Amp and her team are truly outstanding. Prices also are cheaper than at home. Had lunch on the terrace with my friends after climbing (they didn't climb) - 4 adult women, 2 8…read moreyear old women and a cute perrita. Staff ordinary friendly and accommodating, they treated us very well and produce enough menus so that we can make our selections. Are waitress was very polite and patient. She was friendly with all of us, including the eight-year-old twins, and brought a bucket of water for the little dog. The pizzas looked quite lovely and the gazpacho was delicious. Excellent French fries and generous large beers! All the staff were very kind and we enjoyed our meal and the views very much. Thanks again!
