Yeah, it was nice, and I must say that the service was actually pretty good. It was certainly one of those rather friendly pubs, which I certainly do appreciate. In a way it does have its charm, and has been set up rather nice as well, especially with the verandah, considering that in the country most patrons go out the front to smoke as opposed to out into the beer garden (probably because they spend most of their time talking to the bartender).

Anyway, this place was an absolute delightful place to stay in Wallaroo. Not only is it pretty centrally located, but the rooms were gorgeous. We ended up having rooms in the main building, though there are other rooms outside. I guess the ones in the building were cool, or at least the one we had because there was this delightful balcony which gave us great views of the town, and the harbour. Oh, and the service was pretty awesome as well.

The owners have spent a lot of time and effort on the quaintness and feel of the place. They were very friendly and accommodating, we had nice conversations. We will definitely be recommending them to all our friends and family and are looking forward to getting back there again.

I guess the young ones do need a place to all go and congregate, and this pub certainly does seem to be it. It's not as rowdy at other times, though it still seems to be rather popular.
