Having stayed at several Marriott properties in Munich, I found this one to be the best in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and overall value. The room was spacious, and the breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options. The only downside is that the reception desk is only staffed until 8:00 PM. If you need assistance after that, you'll need to visit the reception at the adjacent hotel, which is connected via a shared lobby and walkway. There are also several dining options within a short walking distance. Overall, this hotel is convenient, comfortable, and offers great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

IF your time here includes subway and /or trains, then it is an ideal location. *They also have valet parking. WARNING: The bathroom faucet is a tad different from most sinks. The LEFT one determines whether you want COLD or HOT, nothing else. The RIGHT one determines the amount of water. Being as most of us turn to this one first.... BE CAREFUL because it comes out full force HOT. Can't understand why Marriott doesn't have a small sign on the sink delineating the two valves. P.S. It's a quite large hotel, and the hall/room are formatted in a square, with the inside rooms having a view of a courtyard. So once you get off the elevator, you may have a long haul of turning multiple corners to get to your room. *Even as Marriott Titanium Members, we did not get any upgrade!

Made to order omelets, these awesome herring roll-ups with a pickle inside and tons of bread, The pretzels were hit or miss, as half the time they were not that good. Lots of Nutella if you want it and pastries were plentiful. The room was clean and they did forget to replenish our washcloths a few days, boo. We hardly turned on the TV, but the screen was a large one. The staff was awesome and super helpful whenever you needed it. You can walk to Old Town in about 15 to 20 minutes and Munich is a wonderful city to visit.

Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels quite outdated and could really use a refresh. My room in particular showed its age: the carpets were stained and there was even trash on the floor when I arrived (see photos). That level of cleanliness is simply unacceptable. Our room was pretty warm/humid, even with the AC down as low as it could go. The spa area with the pool was beautiful - kids are not allowed past 7pm (I think that's the cutoff)... unfortunately, there were some people who didn't like that time and brought loud kids in past 7, complaining to the spa staff that they didn't know the rule. The attached bar was nice with afternoon pastries and coffee. I would also recommend trying out the breakfast - the selection was fantastic and as someone who doesn't eat pork (in Bavaria, I know that's crazy...), it was great to see the vegan options for sausage.

I had also forgotten my travel adapter and they had one to lend me. I slept well at night and was not disturbed in any way. The hotel is very close to the centre of Munich -- around 15 minute walk. If I needed to stay by the train station again this place will be at the top of my list.
