They carry quite a good range of styles and sizes but they will get things in for you if they haven't got what you want. Clarks is decent quality but it is expensive so it is tempting to go to one of the cheaper shops but with the children's shoes I always like to get them properly measured and fitted so on balance I think it is worth paying the extra. My best advice is try not to leave it till the last minute before new term or there will be queues.

They also sell homeware in this store and have some really lovely things, quite similar to what you would find in Next etc. but at much more competitive prices. There are plenty of changing rooms here so you never really have to queue for too long and the rooms are clean and spacious. I don't live in Newton Abbot but whenever i am nearby i try to pop in here as i much prefer it to the Matalan in my hometown.

Not disabled friendly as shop is set over two floors, the ground floor is womenswear and the first floor is menswear. The shop sells shoes, boots, trainers and sandals as well as designer accessories, surf and ski wear. It even sells designer watches and ornaments. The shop lives up to its name and has a tiny shop floor, however there is space for a decent sized fitting room at the back. The stock consists of mostly designer ladies' fashions and shoes, including the extremely popular (and essential for women over a certain age!) Not Your Daughter's Jeans (also known as Tummy Tuck Jeans). There is also a good range of shoes and boots and the owners have recently introduced a selection of beautiful handmade jewellery made out of sea glass collected from Shaldon's plentiful beaches. The shop is very nicely laid out, with mahogany shelves and all the clothes are piled very prettily. They have very expensive clothes, for example there jeans are about one hundred pounds, and there hoodies are fifty nine pounds for most of them. The sale are very good, as you can pay up to fifty percent less than if they weren't in the sale. If you are preppy and like this style then I would recommend going here.
