I was also unable to cancel over the phone and was told that I would either have to travel back to Mankato and do it in person or send a letter in the mail. How is it that in 2014 I can't conduct a simple transaction over the phone? How can snail mail be the only option. They clearly just want to make canceling as difficult as possible. I will definitely not be joining any Planet Fitness locations in my new city.

The only thing that this gym has going for it, is that NOBODY IS THERE most days of the week. Owner is also on a power trip and doesn't have a problem yelling at you for not using a spray bottle in the sauna. (He never supplied a spray bottle for the sauna). If you want results, I would highly recommend going elsewhere. OVERALL: The gym has high quality equipment and it COULD be a great gym. But improper management through ownership and staff have ruined the environment for me.
