I been coming to swim almost everyday. The lockers are so clean it has everything you need clean showers. TVs so we can watch any show while drying our hair or getting dressed. The bathrooms wow so clean. I also been goi g to the sauna and steam room. Although right now am struggling with my season allergies it is hard for me to be longer in the steam room but do manage to stay 2-3min. I enjoy the lap pool but it has no shallow side so for me to get out of the pool is challenging since I am very petite in height. The warm water pool is extremely enjoyable. However is sumner time and it is filled with many kids which I love but for many elder patrons do tell the not to splash I laughed amused at that request because how can you go swimming and demand kids not to splash lol the point here is you are at already inside the pool enjoy it and do not be a Karen !! The manager at this place is so kind and polite I wished I new about this long ago but I will be coming for the rest of the year yay

I went in all changed and ready to go with my work out bag. The front desk worker refused to let me use the coupon because I did not have proof I lived in DeKalb or Sycamore.....Really, it is that serious?! I even explained that I just moved back and had nothing with my new apartment address since I just moved in 2 weeks ago but could at least show my business card from my job in DeKalb. I was told to go home and get proof and then come back......I am sorry but that is crazy!!! it is a one day pass not a year membership I walked out and joined another gym.

The facility is kept extremely clean and there is equipment suiting any type of workout even if Cardinal doesn't have all of the extras (pool, basketball courts, etc.). As far as I can tell from my few days working out here, the customer service is pretty good. The extended hours during the week (5AM-11PM) are definitely a plus for my erratic workout schedule. My wife and I had started shopping around for a gym membership and came across the ad for the new…read morelocation in Sycamore. We decided to stop by in on our way to run errands. Upon entering we were greeted right away by Dave who showed us around. After taking the tour and meeting with Cash and Kyle we decided to sign up. Not only did my wife and I sign up but we signed up our kids (teenagers). We are extremely happy we did. We've been going for about a week now and although we haven't met the entire staff you can tell the staff enjoys where they work and how much they want to improve their clients lives. The gym has a row of treadmills and elliptical machines with TVs, free weights, machines with weights, tanning bed plus your membership includes classes they hold twice daily. The classes vary from yoga to circuit training. We have not signed up for a class yet but the sign up sheets do fill up fast. We have yet to encounter a crowded gym even during the busy 4pm-6pm hours. Hope to see you there!

Great culture, very team oriented. The owners actually workout there and are more than willing to help put together a program for you. I have been theresince they opened and have learned much about myself and where I want to be with my fitness level, members regulary participate in tough mudders, Go Ruck challenge, marathons and triathelons. They also have tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts. The rec does get busy usually after 5-6pm until they close, but it's never too bad! I especially like that they have a lot of cardio machines- treadmills and ellipticals as well as a track.

The rec does get filled up at night since most students do not want to wake up at 6am but if there are no machines available you could also try the Field House across the street. Membership covers the workout room in there-basic equipment (no free weights).
