I just had to write a review for Back on Track. My husband…read morehas been a patient of Back on Track for as many years as I can remember to treat a variety of long-term ailments. On July 6th I sustained a pretty severe concussion. After mentioning this to Back on Track through casual conversation, my husband raced to the phone to tell me there may be some help for me. I was discouraged, suffering from constant headaches, light sensitivity, loss of balance, confusion, inability to multi-task, decreased ability to effectively communicate, extreme fatigue, dizziness, light headed, I am sure I am missing a couple of symptoms but you get the point. The hardest part of all of this is how it has affected me socially. It is hard to believe that a concussion can change the way you feel and how you interact around others. I have realized how much brain power is required to do the little things like listening to more than one conversation at a time or typing while speaking on the phone. I started to see Dr. Ashleah Linden (chiropractor) right away. Not only has Ashleah taken the time to listen, she has made herself available by phone and email as required. This is September 17th, I have been seeing Ashleah about once a week since my injury. She has provided me not only Chriropractic services but also helped me regain my confidence. Most of my symptoms have alleviated significantly since going to Back on Track, some will only heal with time. I have started to socialize again and this past weekend was the first time I have laughed and felt good around people in a long time. Thank you Kelly Blackman for getting me in as soon as you heard. I am starting to feel more like myself, you have both changed my life as I know it today and I thank you from the bottom of my heart! Although I have months of healing to go I am on my way to recovery. If anyone you know is suffering from concussion like symptoms, please take it seriously. Don't just relax and rest and hope for it to go away, it can get worse. I strongly recommend Back on track as your first stop after seeing your family doctor. By the way, I am still waiting to see a concussion specialist but while I wait I am healing.

--- ALERT --- I had…read morea stiff neck for 4 days so I booked an appointment over the phone asking for treatment there, told them it was for a stiff neck and likely needed a massage. I showed up and inquired at the reception how the process worked. The nice girl at the front said I pay; $85 for a one-time assessment and then $60 for the treatment, I asked about what a $60 treatment gets me, in terms of time, and she said once I paid there was no time limit for the treatment, whatever time it takes. So after speaking with her I agreed to proceed and shortly after I started the assessment. After 35 minutes of mostly paperwork and a questionnaire and only seconds after my assessment had completed I was told they had no time to give any treatment and in fact I would have to wait a month for the treatment the assessment result said I needed; which in her words was "all you need is a couple of massages". In shock by what she revealed and in a lot of discomfort; I went back to the reception and explained that I only agreed to proceed with the terms discussed under the condition that I get treatment today. Frustrated I asked her..I didn't need to spend $85 to be offered to book a massage a month later did I? She offered no explanation or recourse and only asked for my money. I believe it's downright medically unethical if not fraudulent to subject someone in pain seeking treatment an option like this only after you have their assessment money. I would have never agreed to have an assessment if they had told me first that they had no time today[or this month] to give me the treatment I needed. I feel I was totally scammed by this business and left in more pain than what i had when I got there. After a follow up call to to the business once back home to further explain how unreasonable it was to take my money and offer no treatment in a reasonable time frame they had no remorse and no intention to try and rectify the incident. I plan to contact The Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) and seek guidance for next steps. UPDATE 2/8/2018: After I posted this review I was contacted by management and I am satisfied with their actions. They offered the appropriate response for a failure such as this. I am updating them to a 3/5 star rating because of that.

Anyways all that was happening was that I was getting worse. I was at the point that I was in extreme pain 24 hours a day and could barely get out of bed. That's when we found Active Health. Been coming here for almost 2 months now and I am really seeing great improvement. Actually after my first appointment I saw improvement. I have been going and receiving both chiropractic and acupuncture treatments. I can't give enough praise. Now my wife comes too and we are both feeling much better. All I can say is "Thanks"!

In fact, Dr. Young gave me a proper diagnosis and actually told me that what I thought was my herniated disc ended up being a really tight IT band. It's a clinic that cares about it's patients and the level of care and knowledge I received was second to none. I'd also like to say that Karen is by far the best massage therapist I've ever had. Having issues with CPAP, the therapist went above an beyond to assist what others such as WellWise wouldn't be able to. They actually have a Respiratory Therapist that has years and years of experience and can personally relate to CPAP struggles! I've also booked a hospital bed rental for my grandpa when he needed it and things went very smoothly. Great work!

6 months of hell…read more Dealing with this company is a joke. One would think that if someone was dealing with people that need mobility devices, they would have compassion and make an effort to accommodate them. This company throws a chair at you no matter if it fits, and then tries to make adjustments with foam and cushions. Repeatedly. Doesn't matter if the chair actually fits the person in question. Doing more damage to the injured person is not a good way to do business and opens themselves up to losing said business. Piecemeal fixes are not what this is about and can actually further the damage the injured person has sustained. I recommend passing this company by and finding a business that actually cares more about the person and less about the money 8 months of hell continued... Nothing has changed. They are lazy uncaring and couldn't do anything right if they had an ethics manual. As I've said before...AVOID THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A MONEY GRUBBING, LYING, OVERPRICED, UNCARING, SLACKING,HAVE NO PROFESSIONAL MORALS BUSINESS. Amit (the owner?) is all of the above and more. He leaves people for days without their needs.
