I'm from California and this year, I needed to sell property in Colorado - fast and with the most profit possible. One day in March of 2018, I flew into Denver. Not knowing what to expect of the property we inherited, I looked at realtors in the Loveland area and took a mental note of Mrs. Watchtman. Upon arrival, I noticed the house needed plenty of work. Not familiar with the area, I contacted this savvy, intelligent, outspoken, energetic lady named Meguan. Meguan called me back right away, made arrangements for painters and carpet people and two weeks later put the house for sale. The house was SOLD IN 1 DAY!! 30 days later we closed escrow. Take it from me - I'm very critical of people's work ethic and very critical of the quality of work people often do,, Meguan is a SUPERSTAR and an asset to her company!! She represents the best in her profession and I commend her for her tenacity, professionalism, team work and most of all, her CAN DO attitude! Stay Chill!!

Angie Spangler was recommended to me, but I researched her and several other realtors extensively…read more I decided on Angie because of her outstanding expertise, education, experience, online reviews and results. When I interviewed her (over the phone), she confirmed what I had been reading, that she is very intelligent and extremely knowledgeable about real estate. I was an out-of-state buyer, but she made the entire process almost as easy as buying the house next door! For example, she used FaceTime to show me homes via video and was happy to allow me to stop her at any point to answer my questions or my requests to zoom in on something in the home. She also enabled me to use computer signing on 99% of the documents during the entire home-buying process. I chose to travel once to see the house I was buying during inspection, but I could have done the entire purchase remotely! I was a first-time home buyer, but Angie was very patient with me. She volunteered to thoroughly go over the purchase contract and later the closing documents with me. Angie is very busy because she's naturally in high demand, but she never failed to answer my emails, text messages, or phone calls promptly. If she was too busy to talk right away, she was happy to schedule phone meetings with me, where she made sure I got the answers to every single question I could think of. One of the reasons I chose Angie is her reputation as a good negotiator. This paid off for me because she got me a very good agreement with the sellers to pay for almost every maintenance issue my inspector had identified! At short notice, Angie was able to get repair estimates over a weekend to support her negotiation with the seller on Monday. Angie volunteered to do countless things that benefited me during the home-buying process. Some that I can remember are as follows. She volunteered to keep in touch with my lender so there wouldn't be any delays in the closing process. She inquired about an unknown fee she discovered on my settlement statement to ensure I was required to pay it. She attended closing on my behalf, collected the house keys at that time and connected with my daughter later to give her the keys. She contacted the title company to get a tax certificate that specified a zero balance, so we were ensured that all the sellers' property taxes had been paid. She worked with the title company to get us an out-of-state mobile notary at a good price. She even told me what was especially important to look for when reading the HOA documents. Angie continued to volunteer great advice even after the sale, such as how to sign up with utility companies and how to avoid title/deed scams. She even gives her customers a "Valuable Contacts" list, which is a gold mine of trusted painters, roofers, handypersons, etc. I highly recommend Angie Spangler for anyone buying a home in the Fort Collins, CO area!

She was able to meet our needs for budget as well as our needs for additional area and set up for our mother in law and our growing family. She Was really able to listen to us, and come up with options that would work for us. when we would look at homes i knew they would meet much of our criteria. She stayed right by our side the whole time to walk us through home buying. she was conscious and respectful of our time and would even look at homes for us before she showed them to make sure they would be a good fit. Nicole treated us like family and had our best interests in mind. If you want someone who communicates well, Supports you through the process and really makes home buying a positive experience, then Nicole Jewell with The Group is the way to go.

Being there felt wrong considering I didn't go through any background check and yet there I was being walked through their home and personal belongings. I applied, although I could not get a good feel for the place since their furniture was in it, the walls were pretty dingy, the carpet was stained, and the windows were decorated with the tenants blinds and curtains. The kitchen floor was in really bad shape with a giant gash deep in the linoleum. After I signed the lease and picked up the keys, I moved in only to find that the condition of the walls, carpets, and windows were exactly the same as when the last tenant was here. In fact, the dingy blinds and curtains were still on the windows and the carpet had a big red stain with bleach spots throughout the rest of the apartment. The walls were filthy with nails and holes in them. Half of one livingroom wall looked as if they started painting it, then decided to quit. When I called the office about the condition of the place, they told me "that's just the way the apartment comes" and that I had five days to turn in my check-in list and report any issues. I did, but I never heard back from them. When I followed up I was told someone would reach out to me but they never did. They also charged me a prorated utility fee for the time before my move-in date, which I trustingly paid. I learned my lesson hard but quick soon after. Four months into my lease I get a notification that Henderson sold the property to Evergreen Management. Henderson sends me a notification that I owe them $50 for them transferring my deposit to Evergreen Management, and that if I didn't pay l would face some sort of penalty. Since I'm in no way liable for whatever action they took with my deposit, I called their bluff. It's been seven months and they never bothered me about that again. Now I have to worry if this new Evergreen Management will give me my full deposit, or try and charge me for the condition Henderson left it in. The second star in my rating comes from the fact that they smiled at me a lot.
