Its open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. Breakfast on the weekends is terrific - try the huevos rancheros or the smoked trout eggs benedict. Thursday and Friday offer a few well thought out sandwiches plus a special of the day which is usually soup and sandwich. Everything is homemade and unique like thai green pea soup terrific sandwich combinations usually served with a little bowl of quinoa or lentil salad and kettle chips. They use locally grown ingredients and one can often see a local Mennonite dropping off bags of salad greens. The coffee if from a local roaster and their own blend. Jake, the owner and chef often takes time to come out of the kitchen to make sure everything is to your liking and always thanks us for coming in. Was walking home and the storefront caught my eye. They were closing up shop soon so everything…read morethat they generally display outside was packed in the front of the store. Made things a bit cramped, but manageable. They have lots of costume jewelry and attire (tons of fancy dresses), and also regular jewelry. From what I gathered, most things they buy are from auctions (ie second hand), but in great condition. I got myself a simple silver bracelet for $16, and they cleaned it for me. Saw a trumpet lying outside, and the owner was nice enough to show me a beautiful vintage tenor sax (about $1200) from the back. Unfortunately they had just sold an alto sax for about $150 not long ago! He also said they sold a steel drum recently, which shows how much variety they have. Apparently they get new things in every day - definitely fun to just browse and pick up something nice! At first I felt like the owners (I believe it's a family - father, mother, daughter) were a bit...what's that word...well the vibe I got from them at first just didn't feel right, but I talked to them a bit about what I'm looking for and they were super nice about everything, even joked around a bit. They took down my information if they get any of the items I'm looking for. I'll definitely go back!

I popped in once after 6 months of not seeing them and Dominic had put a crinoline aside for me that came in. Put aside for me for 6 months? That's true customer dedication! I must say I am beyond impressed. My poor lil fridge freezer is literally groaning as I tried to…read moreprepare for social and now self isolation with a husband over 70. So two weeks ago we set out to buy a small upright freezer. We looked all over, and other than Lowes, delivery was well into April at most. So we ordered from Lowes... received a confirmation... then out of blue they cancelled the order. So we ordered a different one, again confirmation for a week or so later to be delivered. Again... they cancelled out of the blue. Finally we found Groves Tv and Appliances in Clinton. I can't say enough wonderful things about them. They not only assured us they would have it to us in a few days, but in seeing the delivery truck arrive today, I was amazed. One person in the delivery truck and up behind pulled a work van with the second person. They obviously care about their staff! They then unboxed the freezer for us and put in inside the door, which is a blessing for the elderly. Finally, the freezer was sprayed so we would not be exposed to anything coming in here. Again, totally amazing. I will in future take all of my business to Groves. Such care and consideration for not only their staff, but also the customer is something not often seen.
